  1. You’ve prompted me to experiment futher. it’s only the Ipad IOS app which crashes ! Tried again from my phone and all works normally. Success, thanks for your help.
  2. Many thanks !! I knew there was a way... one thing.... if you follow the steps, then “convert to pdf” then try and print the pdf, it throws you out (at least on IOS).
  3. Can someone remind how you access your vehicles ‘service history ‘, via the “my skoda” app ? I’ve done it before, but struggling to repeat it.
  4. I certainly didn’t. I just told them about it when I booked the service and they said they would take a look. As it happened, motor was in and waiting when I had the service done so they’re well aware of the issue.
  5. Similar age to my 2015 reg. There was a batch of faulty wiper motors, mine was replaced, no argument, about 18 months ago. You’ve done well to last this long !!
  6. Yes, I accept that’s true in the case of a ‘fail’, obvious really, car is unsafe to drive.... However, I was more interested about the case of. ‘Pass’ where I couldn’t find anything to categorically say you lost whatever was left on the old mot.... I can’t say for sure if ‘system’ generates new expiry date or tester inputs it.
  7. Although it’s clear in the case of an early mot resulting in a ‘fail’, I can’t see any refefrence to say you lose the due date in the case of a ‘pass’, so I’m assuming, for now, you can still submit early and retain the ‘due date’ as now. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/mot-changes-20-may-2018
  8. Or even ..... https://www.wiperblades.co.uk/skoda-fabia-estate-years-2015-to-2018-rear-wiper-blades/
  9. I’m in a similar position but a PCP in my case. Runs out Sept/Oct so do I look at ordering Arona now (there seem to be some long wait times depending on model). Recent price rise and PCP finance rate has gone up to 5.9%.... Reading on an Arona forum, Stoneacre seem to be doing some reasonable PCH deals (via WhatCar site).
  10. Isn’t the Soul diesel only ? That would be a problem for me...
  11. Didn’t think the vitara (esp. 1.4s) had been around that long ?
  12. Have to slightly disagree with you here.... VW group ‘design’ seems to me to be driven, at the moment by Audi (current Fabia has very ‘Audi’ like lines). Ateca/Kodiaq/Karoq are virtually indistinguishable, Arona at least has some Seat influences showing. I have long held the view that the reason Quashquai is a ‘market leader’ is driven purely from high motability sales (at least in my neck of the woods) rather than style or value. The Yeti is certainly ‘unique ‘ from a design point of view but that wasn’t my main reason for buying (twice). I look at the Q3 or Q2 and know immediately what marque they are....so far I’ve seen several Kodiaqs and a Karoq and thought nothing, even if they weren’t too wide for me.
  13. Not actually driven one, but otherwise very impressed. Specs look good value. I’m in a similar position..... Looked at Arona, Suzuki Vitara, C3 Aircross (not 100% confident about Citroen)...Even Fiat 500X (but not really seriously). Even thought to look at 1 year old 1.2 yeti to buy some time. Even thought to pay the GFV and keep for the Fabia sized suv in 2019 but my expectations are very low looking at the Karoq which I think looks incredibly ‘bland’ compared to the Arona.
  14. Rick...I’m amazed that you were able to fix such a dent with boiling water. Must admit it’s new to me. Did you fix it by just pouring the water over the dent or did you need to get your hand underneath to ‘pop’ it out ? Reason I ask is I have a tiny dent in rear driver’s side door from a shopping trolley which I wondered if it might fix..... editted.... just realised.... that part will be ‘plastic’ not metal ?
