Hi all, I’ve got fault code 17560 on my 2.0 azl engine fabia. Seems to point to maf sensor fault. Has anyone else had any dealings with this fault? car runs fine but just annoying having the light on. Mid I clear the fault it’s takes a day or two to re appear

Hi all, my dads 2002 Fabias engine lights on. The codes are 17560 and 16891. It’s a 2.0 azl engine. He’s experiencing high revs (1500) especially when warm any ideas?

Hi all I have a 2002 2.0 Fabia and every now and then when driving along the heater blower will come on by itself and blow hot air even if set to cold. Not sure this is related but the ac doesn't work either. I've had the system re gassed and I've noticed when turned on the compressor and rad fan don't come on Any advice greatly appreciated

thats what it looks like, i was hoping someone might of had the same problem as the throttle body is over 400 pounds

Attempted to re set throttle body this morning but it wont let me do it due to the faults remaining present.

Yes the bearing comes already pressed into the hub.Its a very simple job, just undo the nut and the hub slides off. Cant remember the size, its been awhile since i did it. Sheps

Hi all, depending on the answers i am looking for from this thread i will hopefully be fitting some lovely rs6 alloys to my fabia soon ,but first there are a few things i need some advice on: - am i right in thinking 215/45/17 are the ideal tyre size (dont want them rubbing when cornering etc) -what offset do i need? -will i need the wheels spaced out? -the car isnt lowered at the moment but plan to do this at a later date, will this cause clearence problems? -finally are the ones listed on e bay any good? ive heard there are some nasty looking coppies around. Really appriciate any help Chris

The air filter nice and clean, when you say clean the air flow sensor do you mean just blow it out with an air line? I take vag-com is the skoda diagnostic machine

Hi all, I have a problem with my fabia 2.0. I am getting, according to the trip display 24mpg which im thinking is pretty poor. Having had a new lambda sensor fitted due to the engine light coming on the fuel consumption has suffered (i used to do 32mpg) .I have had the battery disconnected to re set the ecu and have cleaned the throttle body. Im wondering if there is some kind of re calibration for the idle/throttle as the idle is a little lumpy. I now get 240 miles to the tank where as i used to get 320 miles. Any suggestions much appreciated Chris:thumbup:

Hi all, i have an 2002 fabia elegance which seems to have a water leaking into both rear footwells (think this problem comes as standard),anyway having looked at the various related faults experienced by others on this site there doesnt seem to be an exact cure.The water is coming in over the rear door seals, i have removed the door pannels and sealed around the meatal plate which bolts/rivots to the door,this however has not cured the leak. Please please please can someone help me out here with some advice. Many thanks Chris
