Hello, With the navigation, how do you tell it when the road it's following you is closed ? In my previous octavia I had it in the menu and it was recalculating another road directly. In the new one nothing... if you take another road it'll recalculate and send you back to the same road ! Nothing about that in the manual...

Hello, On the Columbus in the media, you can choose different types : Album, artist, etc... and audiobooks. I have some audiobook on my usb key with other musics, when I try to click on Audiobooks it's saying that there are no such media. My books are recognized as albums, like all other musics. In the mp3 tag, the gender is Audio book. Do we have to put a specific tag on the files to have them sorted in Audio book category ? Thanks

Hi, The only time I made the map update, I had a message telling me that I still have 2 update left... so I don't really want to give a try 2 times a year... Therefore my question, is it possible to check this and change it with OBDEleven ?

Does anybody know how to remove the limitation on the number of update with OBDEleven ? On my car I'm limited to 3 map update...

For the noise in reverse, I have the same on mine. Took me some time before I realize that it is the gear lever ! It's an automatic one, when you engage the reverse you have to push the lever down... for some reason mine jump back up a little when it's engaged and make this noise, you can also feel the vibration. Try reversing and keep 1 finger on the lever, you'll feel it directly.

Hi, When I first got my car 4 years ago the music volume was going down automatically when I had some GPS instructions. 2 years later I had to exchange the radio unit under warranty, since this time I have the same problem. Music level does not go down when GPS is talking. My parents have the similar problem in their O3. I have the columbus radio. I think this is a software bug in this version. No idea how to correct it. Skoda never reacted on our complains... Any possibility to switch this back on with OBDEleven ?

Hello, Received my OBDEleven this weekend, and I tried to disable this S*** AFS rain mode and city mode. Done in 5 minutes ! Thanks to XPower for his advice on how to Acknowledge basic settings, it stopped the AFS error on my car. This morning it was raining, AFS is working and follow the curves, even at low speed and in rain. Thanks guys !

I'm waiting to receive the OBDEleven, does somebody know how to do it with this device ? Can you confirm that the lights still turn to follow the curves with the rain mode disabled ? Thanks in advance.

AFS is great, but I really hate the rain mode... when you drive on small coutry roads you don't see anything in front of you, but you see the trees on the side of the road. I'm looking for a way to disable this mode only.

Here is the picture I found... I really would like to know what happen if rain_light is disable... Will the beam stay in the center like in manual mode, or will they continue to move to follow the curves normally even in rain ? I've seen on a golf forum that with the obdeleven there is a menu where you can disable each modes, rain, all weather etc.... But I don't know the results.

Hello Aki, No under the light settings it's only to switch on the lights automatically when it's raining, nothing to do with the AFS. I'm talking here about the movable beams.

Hi guys, I have an Octavia from 2013 (TypE5), with bi xenon lights and AFS system. Do you know if it's possible with the OBDEleven to disable the rain mode in the AFS, so my light beams will continue to turn in the curves as in non raining conditions ? When it's raining the light beam move to the extreme upper side of the road ("not to blind other cars") but you cannot see where you are going anymore... Thanks

It pops up everytime you cross a border. You can disable it in the parameters.

That's what I do, but I send the videos to my garage, just to be sure. What is strange is that sometimes it works Ok in straigh lines, sometimes not. I can see this on the vid I send. I'll see what they reply. My car is still under warranty for a few weeks, so I'm pushing it now.

So it should be "normal" according to you ??? I really beleive it's more dangerous than something else... in bad weather it's lighting the road side and trees and not right in front of you. That's in bad weather condition that the directional lights should be more efficiency, and they just do the opposite ! When you say that your did the same.., did you change something to correct this ?

Can somebody make a small video of the "rain mode" at night or in fog ?

Sounds like the "city mode". I did ask dealer, they cannot change the speed limit for the city mode. Mine are pointing to the road side only when it's raining. Dealer told me that it's the rain mode and that's normal... For me it's a really a bad idea, when driving on forest roads at 90 km/h, you are not seeing the road but the side. I have to switch my lights from Auto to normal so they keep centered. But than you don't have the AFS at all, which is a pain. The light following the road bending is great in normal condition, and should be even better in bad conditions like rainy nights... In the video I posted earlier, we can see the different light cones at different speeds, but nothing for rain mode...

I'm not sure if it's the same problem, but on my parents car the radio volume doesn't mute when we have the GPS announcements. On mine it does mute. Dealer found nothing until now... Anybody else have this issue ?

I'm not sure, but it's really visible during rainny and foggy nights...
