It pretty much is a placebo effect on normally aspirated engines (unless they’re high compression/tuned) but isn’t so on forced induction .

Hi I own one and it’s quite a smooth ride but some bumps can unsettle it plus I think it could do with tuning up to 150-160bhp. I have achieved 48 av mpg with a tight engine with almost 500 miles on it.

I am indeed 39.3mpg from a tight engine not bad me thinks

The fault that was stored was for air pressure and temp,which was traced to an insecure wiring on a terminal. Now repaired yay

Well I went out for a drive last night but nothing happened the EML is still on.I've called RSA and a vw tech is coming out between 1-3 :-)

Good shout I'll take the wife out in a bit.

Called the but can't do anything till tomorrow thankfully I don't use it for work.

Picked up my blue bear 1.4 124 se yesterday all was good and today I've experienced light to medium stuttering plus engine cutting out three times plus engine management light has come on.

I'm looking to spec the children pack on a 1.4 tsi se and it says it can only come in Toscana so far the on pics I've seen is in the faults topic .If someone could post some decent pics that would be most appreciated.

Yes it is,I also have a K&N 57i airbox intake plus,I was running shell vpower.

Not to bothered about economy at the mo,as I'm enjoying the extra power but my range shot up,from 580 to 700 on an almost full tank.

Well I'm very happy with the result and customer service

I ended up going for the K&N and there's no difference in sound but,throttle response is slightly better.I've only done 20 miles.

Any tuner info on this ? What I'm after is better throttle response and,a little extra power. I will be having a map done on it at some point.

Which one should i go for ? (Not interested in a replacement element)
