Any links to any of these clutches please lads??

Had the valeo smf installed lastyear. finally got my map done. Now clutch is slipping. Found out the clutch only takes 310ft torque. Just wanted to know if anyine can recommend any clutches or is selling one please?? all suggestions are welcome. Thanks. Mick.

I have my eyes on niceyellows helix kit for 500. If the next 2 weeks in work goes fine ill take it off his hands in 2 weeks. The valeo is slipping in 5th and 6th when theres weight in the car. If the clutch isnt damaged much i could maybe make some money back off it. Cheers for the help guys. Yous are excellent. Mick.

Ive noticed that. My clutch shudders real bad. Tractor sounding like. Good bite and that with the clutch. But i dont like it. I tried to find out the max the clutch could handle. But couldnt find it. If i had 500 quid right now i would be asking you to post that. I fitted the valeo clutch system. Surely my car couldnt have ate the clutch already??

I have a fabia vrs and i installed valeos smf 12,000 miles ago. I remember when it 1st got installed there was a slight chattering noise at torque peak. Now i have the car mapped and the clutch is slipping in 5th and 6th gear. The clutch is only a year old. Has anyone else had a problem with valeos smf. Think i will have to replace it. Anyone recommend a new decent clutch please?? Cheers. Mick.

Mines done the same. Just glued it all back in and it hasnt came loose again. Maybe worth a try??

I have the valeo smf kit in mine. It chutters like mad when torque peaks. Kind of like a slight tractor noise. It drives me crazy!! The bite and everything is superb and it takes the power. But the noise about 1700 to 2000 rpm is annoying.

As far as i know its standard. I havn't done anything to it. It was a family owned car before me. So dont know what they done to it. Few people said on this before they think its standard for the blt. Just wondering if its just a waist of time paying for a map. mick.
