  1. Sissipaska's post in Changed burnt battery fuse box, now undrivable was marked as the answer
So this week I have changed the MAF, removed SAI, fitted a new turbo back exhaust with a 200 cell cat and changed a few split vacuum and breather pipes. Knock on wood, it seems to have cured my problems. VCDS reported a faulty MAF so that was probably the main problem but also the crankcase breather pipe going to the t-connector under the intake manifold was completely split open. New silicone hoses from Creations Motorsport fixed that.
    So far so good...

Congrats to a pretty solid car! It will be alright for those 500 km. You can still make some checks before by yourself:

    Oil level check
Put the car on a level surface.
Turn off the engine and let it cool for a while.
Then locate the dipstick (mätstickan) and pull it up and wipe it off.
Now you should see some sort of MIN MAX reading and a scale in between.
Put it back in all the way and then pull it out again.
Check the oil level and color of the oil. If it's brown, caramel then it's alright. If it's black like coffee then you need an oil change when you get home.
If it's grey or milky then you will have a problem (very unlikely but still can happen)

Check the condition of the tyres
Check how deep thread you have on the tyres
Check for uneven wear over the surface
    Check for cracks (torrsprickor)
Check the tyre pressure at a Statoil/OKQ8. The recommended pressure should read in the manual or maybe on a sticker behind the fuel filler cap or when you open the drivers door. You should have some more air in the rear tyres than the front.
(I have 2.0 bar in front and 2.3 rear but this depends on how much you load and what tyres you have )

Check the condition of the brakes visually
Try to check the thickness of the brake pads on the front disc brakes and so that the disc is smooth and not very worn

Where in Sweden do you live?
