Hi All, I have a Superb MkII, 13 reg L&K 140 bhp 4x4 estate TDI.... I'm getting an annoying buzz/vibration from somewhere near the air con control unit which only happens at 1350 to 1600 (ish) rpm. I have replaced the 'U' clips and used slightly larger screws to hold it down, but it seems to come back relatively quickly. I'm thinking of cutting back one washer side of the rigid grommets holding the unit in place and using something like BluTac to act as a holder and vibration reducer.... Any thoughts? (As the driver, I'm pretty sure that it is coming from the control panel, but, after looking at all the other threads, could it be the pollen filter??) And.... Any thoughts on replacing the faulty central locking switch on the drivers side? Would I have to remove all of the door panels or just the panel by the handle? And... The O/S headlight washer missed the headlight entirely and washes the windscreen 😞! Is this a big / awkward job? Any ideas where I could get the parts?? Many thanks
