2.0 Elegance Hatch all the way. Fantastic economy, comfortable and fast, loads of space. Bit dull on image, but is that really so bad?

Just done 4500 miles in my 2.0 Elegance hatch manual. Been averaging 55-58 driving steady 70 90% of the time. Just tried a tankful at steady 60 (hard to keep up) and went 590 miles before putting 42 litres in - just over 64mpg. Great but no fun..

That's precisely what Fuelly is for!

Fuelly? That's where I am keeping my record. I take the mileage when I fill up, which is at or less than the light coming on. Makes for a slight error between 'tank fulls' but not much, and the overall average is meaningful.

I can feel a trial coming on...

interesting - I only use Fuelsave and am a little disappointed with 58mpg - which other fuel is better?

I drove for about an hour and a half on the A55 at a steady 70 yesterday - low 50's compared to high 50'susually. I have recorded each fill on fully thus far so will be able to plot a similar run chart. Don't think they are valid until about 20 fills but will make for a good real life test over the next 4 years!

Mine seems to be OK - I've noticed that water runs into the channels and down towards the rear bumper, but none has gone into to the boot. I reverse park onto my sloped drive so it doesn't always drain out. That plus the way the doors drain when I open them are disconcerting, but guess will get used to it.

My 2.0 manual is absolutely fantastic and beats the dsg IMHO. Agree that 1.6 manual is awfully long geared

How do you activate that option? - it didn't work like that for me as the screen would not come back on

My screen went blank today - everything else worked and could change things through the MFD steering wheel. It came back on next time I started up though....

Works great on my Elegance - just switch it on and leave it now the nights are getting darker. Actually puts main beam on at times I wouldn't normally think to, which is how it should be

Maybe its just me but I had them on my Qashqai until last week and never understood what the fuss was about. Hence I didn't spec them on my fab Elegance.

No kit and no front assist dome. Ordered April and built July.

Got mine today - very nice and very happy. Got 57mpg on a 40 mile cruise home at a steady 70 - brilliant, and good amount of poke too. Fantastic value - rear space is awesome, and beige interior very classy.

Pick mine up on Friday - nearly there!

Pretty sure that's a USA gallon rather than UK, so the claimed mpg is correct

I've got it on my Qashqai (for the next 3 weeks anyway!) and won't miss it. I do open/close by pushing the button on the door handle but tbh using the key fob in my pocket is just as easy.

I think you need the original SD card - others don't work

have to agree - been discussed here many times. I am expected to get better mpg from my 2.0 when I get it on 20 Sept than the 1.6
