  1. Hi all I need some sort of roof rack for my mk1 vrs to pick some items up and need some options. just had a look on ebay for roof rails but none on there but plenty of roof bars to go on the rails is there any other method or has anyone got the roof rails that they are getting rid of so i can then get some bars please let me know. many thanks in advance.

Hi all Went to kwikfit yesterday with my vrs to have a new tyre fitted and they pointed out that the rear passengerside wheel is in negative camber by a long way. can anyone tell me how to adjust the rear camber i know i wont be able to get it spot on but it does look a long way out. many thanks in advance.

Hi all Just got round to trying to get my airbags to work(someone had taped over the dash light) anyway first I plugged in the laptop and got this Address 15: Airbags Labels: 6Q0-909-605-VW5.lbl Part No: 1C0 909 601 Component: 31 AIRBAG VW51 0008 Coding: 13105 Shop #: WSC 73430 VCID: DDBB07AD572A2F1 7 Faults Found: 00532 - Supply Voltage B+ 07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent 00595 - Crash Data Stored 35-00 - - 00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95) 33-10 - Resistance too Low - Intermittent 00589 - Airbag Igniter 1; Passenger Side (N131) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent 00589 - Airbag Igniter 1; Passenger Side (N131) 32-00 - Resistance too High 00588 - Airbag Igniter; Driver Side (N95) 29-10 - Short to Ground - Intermittent 01317 - Control Module in Instrument Cluster (J285) 49-10 - No Communications - Intermittent So I have now replaced the airbag ECU with a secondhand one and now get this Address 15: Airbags Labels: 6Q0-909-605-VW5.lbl Control Module Part Number: 1C0 909 601 Component and/or Version: 31 AIRBAG VW51 0008 Software Coding: 13105 Work Shop Code: WSC 73430 VCID: DDBB07AD572A2F1 2 Faults Found: 00532 - Supply Voltage B+ 07-10 - Signal too Low - Intermittent 00589 - Airbag Igniter 1; Passenger Side (N131) 32-00 - Resistance too High What do I do now would clearing the codes be ok (worried in case It sets them off) and see if it clears the airbag light. any help please
  6. I never drained the system so there was only a min loss of coolant
  7. Temp still holding at 90 but since I changed the thermostat the heater is not getting very warm any ideas.
  8. Replaced my thermostat today and touch wood everything now seems ok
  9. That looks quite easy so there is no need to drain the system first
  10. Got a thermostat from eurocarparts today will try and fit it Monday unless anyone has an easier fix as looking at it they are not that easy to fit
  11. waterpump was done with the cambelt at 79257 miles in 2009 its now at 103,000
  12. to be honest i think the guy I brought it off was telling me a few porkys
  13. it does it while driving I have only had the car about 5 weeks the guy I brought it off said he spent £200 replacing the temp sensor and housing.
