  1. Hey guys, searched through the forums but need a little help either way, my turbo just blew, and I'm wondering if it's worth upgrading or not? I'll be getting a refurbished turbo as I'm skint, but what other parts would I need for a pd150? And if I stick with another 130, can I get away with not remapping again?
  2. White, and when I've put my foot down, pretty bad, I can see it a couple cars behind, just a haze
  3. Hey guys, just wandering if anyone can give some advice on a few problems I may have, first up, my power steering sometimes doesn't work when I start the car, but always goes perfect again after a little 'wiggle', and second, when I'm a little heavy footed, I can see clouds of smoke behind me, worse at night but that's just because I can see it more. Am I heading towards some chunky repair costs? Or do I just need a new battery and to realise I'm a diesel now? Cheers
  4. Okay again I'm sorry if I'm creating covered topics, but I'm majorly sorting my car out. My roof rails little clips are missing, and inside the rails themselves its mossy and horrific... So, can I take off the roof rails and clean beneath? And can I buy/fix the missing clips so they don't just have holes in them... I was considering just removing/filling and vinyl wrapping the roof as one piece, but I'm not sure I fancy it.
  5. Cheers guys, Finally had time off work, went for the elbow grease/sand paper technique, then T-cut at the very end. worked wonders, thanking y'all
  6. Yes, if not a little whiter again, and one is considerably worse than the others, are the results you've had good I'm assuming, and how much time should I set aside haha
  7. Okay, so I've been a fabia for years, but recently finally got a vrs, all good knick, mechanically sound and such... But my headlights are white with scratches/misting... Any way to refurb or just get new ones? Any help would be boss, sorry if I'm not posting in the correct section
  8. The steering weight does have a tendacy too change after long journeys yes, so do I have somthing too worry about now  and Cheers for the surprisingly quick replies! And the light flicker is from pretty much everything, headlight, dash... its only a short lived flicker, literally 'til I've pulled out my drive.
  9. Title sums it up really, I have a basic car knowledge, but I'd like too firstly ask if their is any way too get rid of the annoying light flicker I get at slow speeds. Not a clue what it is. No doubt there is a thread, but I cant work this properly just yet. And also, the only mechanical fault with the car is the catalytic converter rattles, any chance any of you fine folk are selling/know anywhere for good prices? Cheers for any help
  10. I've recently purchased me a 1.4 Fabia, after all my Clio's electrics died. I already love it to be honest, but being a student restricts my options of a fabiar with a bit of punch. So basically I'm joining here for small, comfy little mods, as I drive alot. I'd like too firstly ask if their is any way too get rid of the annoying light flicker I get at slow speeds? And also, the only mechanical fault with the car is the catalytic converter rattles, any chance any of you fine folk are selling/know anywhere for good prices? Any help or advice on anything mentioned above would be appriciated, and sorry for being so messy, alot of subjects in the wrong area, no idea where I should be posting! Cheers
