  1. MY ex PCH car is for sale for anyone interested. It never gave me an ounce of bother in nearly three years of hire, and was all in fine working order when it went back. BCA guy said it was immaculate. I see someone has pinched the rubber floor and boot mats that I left in it 🤔 It's also fitted with nokian weatherproof all season tyres. https://www.startingroup.co.uk/used-car-details/used-skoda-yeti-12-tsi-110ps-se-l-drive-out-suv-green-manual-petrol/id-63630578783/
  2. That's my wee Yeti away 😭 BCA inspector said it's immaculate. Will be a nice car for someone else with only 14k on the clock.
  3. No they will only dispose of them not buy them. But I can sell locally and get something back.
  4. I've already paid for the Michelins as they were 10% off. I did look at the Goodyears too and will keep them in mind for future.
  5. I don't mind the lack of soft touch interior. I don't touch the dashboard often enough for it to be an issue. Re. the driving comparison, I'll get back to you on that later in the week when I've driven more than the ten miles I've achieved so far 😜 I'm moving house soon so been really busy at home and not had much time for driving. I hope to get out a bit more this week and I'm also getting Michelin Cross Climates fitted to the T Roc on Thursday.
  6. Yes I had an orange Jeep Renegade in between the two Yetis. I seem to have a thing for orange cars 😃
  7. I had a Suzuki Vitara many years ago and I hated it. It was like driving a tin can, but I'm sure they're very different now. Good luck in your search, the Yeti is a hard act to follow
  8. Yesterday my replacement car was delivered, a VW T Roc 1.0l Design that I waited 8 months to be built. Just as well I placed the order well in advance! The PCH Yeti goes back next week, it's such a shame that they're not making any more of these. I almost purchased the Yeti but decided rather than own a three year old car I'd go new and hopefully keep it for a long time. For those pondering on what to buy I can say that the T Roc is a lovely car to drive and the engine is very quiet. It's certainly worth considering a test drive.
  9. EDIT: BCA have said to ignore this as I've never had the V5
  10. Ok one last thing. In the instructions from BCA it has this: You will also need to ensure the following for collection: The V5 is available and section 9 has been filled in with VWFS details and sent to the DVLA I don't hold the log book so how does this work?
  11. Received an invoice today from Skoda for the early termination fee that I paid last week 😤 Phoned them and they're telling me that I owe another months payment for February...erm no, that's why I paid early termination. Eventually sorted out the shambles and also got put through to BCA who have booked inspection and collection for next Wednesday. What a palaver!
  12. I've done that twice now. They tell me its marked as paid but then it turns it out it isn't 😤 Spoke to BCA and they referred me back to Skoda finance again. **** up and brewery springs to mind!
  13. New car is on its way for tomorrow, both cars covered until end of month. Skoda hadn't updated my contract to one month early termination so BCA would be waiting until end of March! Hopefully fixed now.
  14. I've got parking space on my drive but I will have both cars for a couple of weeks maybe. New car is coming on Thursday and still waiting for BCA. I know I have to insure both, just wondered the best way to do it. I'll contact my insurer tomorrow as I hope to know more re. BCA by then
  15. If you have a new car but BCA still haven't collected the pch car, what do you do about insurance for both cars during the overlap?
  16. Got my Yeti valeted yesterday and it's looking in excellent condition, just one wee stone chip on bonnet which is not bad for a near 3 yr old car. Still waiting for BCA so may need another wash before that, but I'm guessing a dealer will purchase at auction and make a tidy profit on a lovely car
  17. That still doesn't answer my question, I had already looked on the website. I was asking for actual members experience as to whether its all done same day or not 😀
  18. Can anyone tell me do they inspect and collect your returning car on the same day, or is it inspection and then collection later? I'm a month early trying to arrange termination as my VW T Roc has arrived in UK, just wondering what the process is
  19. My Yeti is now in the last 3 months of pch and I asked for a quote to buy, just out of curiosity. The provisional value was £12,826 but the official offer letter is £13,550 I ordered a VW T Roc in May and was considering cancelling it and keeping the Yeti but as I now have a confirmed build I'll go ahead with it. At 13,500 miles currently, I'm sure it will be a good purchase for someone as it's been flawless in almost 3 years of driving. I'll be sad to see it go 😞
  20. If it has a sunroof then it could be that, there have been plenty of posts on here about it over the years
  21. I have Nokian Weatherproof R17 but they come in your tyre size as well. I'd happily buy them again for my next car.
  22. So potholes can be useful after all 😂
  23. I'm into my third year of PCH with my 17 plate 1.2 manual SEL Drive. Currently waiting for a VW T Roc factory order, and then someone else will get the pleasure of buying my ~13k miles immaculate Yeti I get around 40MPG on mainly short journeys around town. I hope I don't live to regret letting this car go 🤔 SEL Drive adds the following over the SE Drive: Leather upholstery, LED taillights, part silver roof rails, different 17-inch wheels and Bi-Xenon headlamps
