Which battery tester did you get from Amazon, seems to be quite a few listed

Hi , just joining this thread, mine is aa 2013 ( pre facelift) 4x4 170 hatch with all the electric bits etc, been sluggish to start in the mornings, failed me once and had to call to green flag jump start it, handed it in to dealer who ( after 4 days searching) reckoned their was a battery drain in the ABS controller which they replaced, but has not made any difference. Car is fitted with a Moll 70ah battery?. Last night I connected a smart charger with showed the battery was only half charged, left this on overnight, seemed fine this morning, engine spun much faster and fired first time, problem is how long will my charge last before battery is back to half level? & how do I know where the problem is, its it the battery not charging fast enough or not having enough capacity, to much drain from all the electrical gubbins , or the alternator not generating enough power??? Any advice greatly appreciated , car is booked into dealers on Friday, so the more ammunition I have the better.

I have the Galaxy S4 in my 2013 twindoor 170ps 4x4 phone works great with skoda rsap system, bur when connected there is no data connection. Have just read the manual under data,and extras, and now even more confused, anyone found how this works? In previous cars without rsap, the passenger has been able to use phone connection as internet access point Any help would be much appreciated

Hi I have a twindoor and fit altera roof bars and roof box, bars are an extremely good fit and seem very strong, never had any problems

How do you load POI's to a 2013 columbus system, there is a field My Personal POI, but this is greyed out. the manual is worse than usless but appears to say you load from SD card, what format do you use OV2, CSV or ???? Can anyone help

Thanks, I eventually found out that it was looking for the SIM card pin rather than its own self generated one, now working perfectly

New car in June, just had it out in the dark for the first time last week, i noticed that the courtesy entry light on the underside of the door mirror only came on on the drivers side, is this correct?, or should both sides light up ?

Hi can anyone out there help, just received my new galaxy s4 phone, tried to connect to car, goes through all the pairing procedure ok, but then comes to pin number , tried the default 1234 as is in car handbook, handbook mentions that 6 digit code might be self generated, generated by what ? car or phone, and is this the same number as the passcode that it generates in the pairing process?? totaly confused, any help much appreciatted

Just picked up new phone, tried to connect to car, all goes well until car requests pin, tried the default 1234 nothing happened, is this pin supposed to be generated by the car or the phone, or???? be very grateful if anyone can help

Picked up my new elegance 170 4x4 hatch about 6 weeks ago, dealer had fitted OEM detachable towbar and swing down 13 pin electrics, so far have towed a few short journeys without any problems. We have Just returned from much longer towing journey (120 miles) and found that the fridge was not cooling properly. Does anyone know if the OEM wiring includes pin 10 for fridge. When I ordered the vehicle I did specify full caravan wiring

Picked up my new 170ps 4x4 manual pre FL hatchback on 5th June, bought the 4x4 for the extra weight to give the car/caravan weight ratio a little boost, already towed 3 times, and it is a great towbar, plenty power, about 30mpg, all in all delighted with the experience

I believe from Samsung that both of theses phones include rSAP, but they cannot guarantee the the system will work with every car manufacturer, has anyone used either of these phones in a recent model Superb, (Mine is only a month old) I would be very interested to hear of other users experience FAILURE OR SUCESS with either of these phones before I go out and buy one

I eventually received the approved list from Skoda customer services, absolutely useless ,most of the phone on it are 2008/2009 models and Berra no resemblance to the current phones, come on Skoda get the finger out and produce a list of the phones which are available NOW, which give full functionality , failing this surely VAG group has enough clout to approach one of the phone manufacturers and get something suitable designed

Hi, has anyone found a cage for a medium sized dog ( border collie) that will fit in the back of a superb twindoor. I have one that was used in my previous vehicle, but with tailgate closed the cage is only about 1cm away from glass, to close for comfort. Failing this anyone have info on suitable dog guard to fit same car

Hi, can anyone help, picked up my new Superb Twindoor 170 4x4 last week, dealer connected my HTC Sensation XE to the cars Bluetooth system, it connected as a premium phone all good so far works perfectly, but I do not get my text messages coming through on the maxi dot, something about gsm 2 or gsm 3????. my phone is two years old. I am also due to change phone in a couple of months, what is the best phone to match up with the Skoda system? Thanks
