  2. I have had my 1.6 fsi auto 08 for 4 years and I love it. can't fault anything. had no problems except 4 wheel tracking which has no bearing on the engine type or size. power is good and the kick down brilliant.
  3. I used a small set of pullers to release mine with a coin between the nozzle and the end of the pullers to protect the nozzle , worked well but you need tree hands.
  4. Thanks for the help, took it out today, don't think it has ever been out before because of the amount of debris that fell on the floor, as warned by Mikey. the filter was so blocked that I was surprised that any air got through. would advise anybody that hasn't cleaned the filter to do so as it must help the system.

  16. fitted a usb to the centre of the three blanks on the dash just above the ash tray. simply removed the blank ,cut a slot to take the male usb and glued the female usb to the back of the blank using a lot of apoxy resin waited for the resin to set then replaced the blank.all that shows is the slot.
  17. Hi , just bought some self adhesive badges from "keephimatbay" on ebay. Various sizes. The wheel centres were very good but the larger one for the bonnet not so successful, air pocket, but I think that might have been the lack of patience on my part. Not expensive and worth a look.
  18. + 1 indicator stalk left on, I think it alerts you to a parking light on.
  19. Thanks for the warning, how does it compare to normal wheel cleaner and what damage can it cause ? bearing in mind that it is hosed off almost immediately.
  20. Just went to wash my car and realised that I had run out of wheel cleaner, pinched kitchen cleaner. Best I've ever used on my alloys. Astonish kitchen cleaner from Asda £1=00 / bottle, Brilliant.
