Thanks for the comments folks, I do like it. Was thinking of getting the roof vinyled gloss black too.... But that money would be better spent on performance upgrade. Also like some other comments on this forum, my 0-60 is definitely quicker that 7.4 (under 7.0 at least).

Folks, what is this in the pic? A fixing plate for sat nav / dash cam or a sensor... or something else? I want to stick my GoPro cam to it! Cheers.

Collecting my Vrs on Friday 31st, 11.00AM. A day short of 9 weeks since order. Impressed and very excited. Pics to follow, in the correct forum ofcourse.

Further call from the dealer... The car is in this country (didn't say where but I do wonder), he said it should be ready next week. So, ordered on 31st March, build week 19 (2nd week in May) and delivered by end of May. Eibach springs are going on it too. Now the sleepless nights begin.

Spoke with dealer today and he told me my car is built! It's on their accounts! Which means it will be with them this month :)That means that my Steel grey Vrs hatch, with black alloys, cruise, climate, heated f/seats, arm rest, rear parking sensors and headlight washers will be a 9 week car from order to delivery!Thanksfully a good month faster than I dreaded.I just hope everything goes smoothly now!

Missed a call from my dealership today... Build week was last week (19), I have a feeling it's going to be bad news. He didn't sound very excited for me on the voice mail I got. :S Fingers crossed eh!

Well I stand corrected, although I don't think that rule is ultimately observed, can you imagine giving way to someone approaching the size of a roundabout at the bottom of a slip road, for example. We're always nipping into gaps and such. On our head I suppose!

I obviously know what Eibachs are but what is on offer? A lowered spring or a direct replacement for the OEM part? Cheers, Dave.

I thought that but didn't question it at that time. I will though, especially after someones previous comment that it only takes a day to build the car!!!?

*** UPDATE *** Spoke with dealer yesterday and he said provisional build date of week 19 (early May). Delivery 4-5 weeks after that. It's an improvement on the 14-16 weeks initially quoted... I hope it goes as well as it sounds.
