  1. This is the hose in question and where it is connected to, any replies would be hugely appreciated. Shane
  2. Hi guys l, so I've got a 2004 Toyota Yaris T sport 1.5vvti ( I know it's not a Skoda but no other forum is allowing me to post at the moment). I recently drove down a ridiculously bumpy road and when I pulled up at the next junction my car was idling really rough. It was hunting between 300-800 rpm however ran fine whilst the throttle was applied. I pulled over and checked under the bonnet, I noticed a small rubber hose had come free from it's jubilee clip that has since fled the engine bay, the hose looked like it was connected to the air box. I reattached this hose and the car is now running "better" but as the hose is not clamped on properly I think it is still idling a bit rough. Do any of you know what this hose is for and called? Pictures will be added to topic. Any help would be really appreciated. Many thanks Shane

  4. Nope, she tracks straight and true. Took a 130 mile drive today, what a car, so comfy and confident at motorway speeds and averaged 43.6mpg, never saw that figure in my vrs! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  6. Ahh thank you for the replies so quick, really appreciate it. It doesn't bother me (I think inprefer them) I just thought maybe if I have to make a claim on the warranty the dealer might turn around and say it hasn't got factory alloys and void my warranty but now I know that won't be the case and save me a call to the dealers Monday morning. Thanks guys.
  7. So we collected our White Monte Carlo 1.2tsi 105hp today, excellent service by Adamsons Skoda in Walmer, Kent. Car was ready built and just waiting to be shipped here, time from ordering to driving off the forecourt was 3 weeks, options are as follows: Bluetooth (with maxidot) Grey seats Protective side moulding (fitted free by dealer) The car is faultless, only done 28 miles so far and can already tell it's going to be a brilliant motor for the next 3 years. Averaged 23.6mpg today which isn't good at all, but expecting this to improve as she's run in. However, the only concern I have is that I think she is sitting on the black Gigario Fabia Vrs alloys and not the Monte Carlo wheels? Would really appreciate if someone could confirm this for me? All in all, very happy with the purchase! Replacing a 2002 Octavia vrs, which was fun/practical/understated, a pretty much perfect car but after 137k and 11.9 avg mpg it was time for her to go :( but as I said, very please with the little fabia! 10. hi all, Right, I'm looking to place an order for a 1.2tsi 105 Monte Carlo but i am unsure of a few things. These things being 1) whats it like performance wise? ( downsizing from a mk1 Octavia vrs so this is slightly important) 2) what colour should i get? ( i know this is personal choice and what not but the problem is, red fades (my favorite) over time and being one of the cost free options along with white is there less coats applied like the vauxhall corsas cost free paint is? 3) What options do you guys suggest? The ones im thinking of are MFSW with small leather pack (radio only) maxidot climatronic 3rd rear headrest esp/asr rear elec windows 5 year extended warranty Also the pros/cons of the fabia Monte Carlo and the 1.2tsi engine. This is a question that you cant really answer but how much a month would it be roughly if it is £15,885 before the 0 VAT offer? i would appreciate any answers Many Thanks Shane
  11. Hello, i'm Shane, I'm a newbie and i'm proud to be a newbie! Had my 2002 Octavia vrs for 7 years she's done 133,000 miles now Don't really know what to write on this so this is it really cheers Shane
  12. Just to let anyone know, There was a recall on the coil packs for the 1.8t vrs earlier this year. so make sure this is done before you get it. Brilliant guide mate.
  13. Hello, I'm thinking about placing an order for a Fabia Monte Carlo 1.2 tsi 105 to replace my MK 1 Octavia vrs which is costing to much to run averaging 17 mpg round town and 33 mpg on my 120 mile drive to see family every weekend and trips to my local Skoda Dealer (Adamsons of Deal) are starting to become more common. What i was hoping to find out is, in real word conditions what are the mpg figures? Whats it like drive comfort and performance wise (quite important coming from a car with 180hp and is so much fun to drive) ? Any pros/cons with the fabia monte carlo and the 1.2tsi 105 unit? What options would you suggest i get? whats it like interior space wise? Is it possible to haggle the price down on a Fabia? As sad as it will be saying goodbye to my baby but she's costing too much to run and maintain, £500 spent on parts since January Any answers would be greatly appreciated Thanks Shane 2002 Skoda octavia vrs 133,000 miles Silver Awsome
