  1. They said and I quote there would be a chance that it would be still in neg equity so why pay more into a negative deal?the skoda dealer said that it was a touch and go as it wouldn't get worse ok you say hand it back but I'm putting more money down the toilet My payments would be until October and that would be a waste as no different to putting that money into the Honda deal Also I know cars loose money but this has lost lots and lots . I think it does have to do with vw group stuff I'm hearing it lots about the "silent knock on" when we signed up for our 4th pcp deal with skoda we all thought there would be 1500-2000 left at the end because of the "good " residual the oct generally had. I think now it is going to keep on going down like said I have had 2x Audi and one fiat and a bloody ford even all lost money but at a lesser rate or the pcp deal was set right.
  2. Oh ok my last 3 cars I came out with 40% of my deposit back Low mileage and very good spec car here if you want it ? So I take it from comments its normal, sorry but I don't think it is not in my experience
  3. 2142 pounds in neg equity with a 4K deposit I'm not silly i know cars loose money but what they think its worth is crap 24000 miles fsh 12k REALLY I mean yes I could sell private but it's scary for others that's why I have posted
  4. Skoda have told me price no other dealers are willing to pay what I owe so have found Honda helpful they have said it's tough atm as the prices are very "under pressure " don't know what that means but I feel the Octi is underpriced now
  5. Never had a problem with car and service been great but lost so much got to go
  6. Shame but after a 4K deposit and 25 months of paying I'm 2k in neg equity I find this totally upsetting I went to skoda dealer who said it might correct it self at end of term I said I don't really want to find out lol So I'm off to Honda a Crv yes totally different but 6.6 k saving and buying me out of the skoda pcp
  7. So ok going to ask I had golf Gti pp loved it so the 220 be a better deal than the tdi? Don't do loads of miles so not so worried about cost of fuel Is it night and day better ?
  8. Great I have 18" golus they make ride quite harsh on certain surfaces Seats feel lot better than elegance but not drove in them if that makes any sense just really looking forward to it
  9. Been out and about to look for new car No problems with our Octavia but don't want to get another one the same so looking at Vrs Looked at lots of cars but skoda seems to fir the bill again! Mazda 6 no space mondeo nice pug 308sw again nice but felt a bit strange "very small steering wheel "but all have no space compared to Octavia what I mean by this is I'm 6"3 and if I need to I can sit behind me JUST as we take our parents out at least once a month none of the others are as roomy I was gobsmacked but honestly Octavia is more spacious or feels it. Getting a Vrs for a few hours hoping it feels different to mine so enough to pay the extra .
  10. £59.10 REALLY????????? Can this be right ?
  11. We have cappacino beige car would plain black or carbon look better I thinking carbon Anyone have proper pics of one fitted ? I did see thread but no pics of carbon
  12. Lol same thing happened to me! In mk7golf gti it was driving me mad !
  13. Hi anyone else have this ? Car was left for week when we were away but never noticed it before ! Calling dealer Monday but when driving rear passenger heard sloshing!! So when opened water cone out from behind the plastic bit around electric boot button, then as closing even more comes out,as it goes up and Down you can hear the water moving inside the boot lid ! I'm worried it will rust from the inside out now!!! Or am i being paranoid? Car going in for 1st service in 3weeks but don't want to wait now!
  14. Dare I mention audi Nice interiors I have had 3 ,s5 was the first and was great but that was 2008 still the same!?!?!? In 2014 Also e90 bmw 2006 330d m sport nice but still almost the same now !?!? WHY I would love to have an audi interior in a bmw 235i coupe mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
  15. My logic says do every ten thou if your keeping the car for over 3 years as people say turbos and other things if you find a local nice garage buy the filter from skoda keep reciepts and make sure garage put on reciept oil used ,you in the long run can save a fortune also change fuel filter every tine, the only needs to be some crap or ****ty fuel and sensors or god forbid fuel pump, injector problems and a £25 fuel filter will the least of your worries I have done over a million miles in transits over 13 years touch wood no turbo or fuel injector, pump issues services every 10k If however only going to keep 2-3 years then do what they tell you ,my s5 had no service for two years 16 k miles I however think its bad as next owner has a car that's not been looked at for two years, and I drove that car hard !
  16. Old money or new money ?!?!?? Old money used to drive round in anything battered rusty or "farm looked after"no one said owt New money wants the badge I found myself going towards the old way but still new car , in life we pay for what we want so I mean no disrespect I went skoda as it looks good but costs less than the bmw/audi how much less depends on many things but bmw audi don't do a car like ours with that spec for the figure I got it to over 3. Years pcp 0% So I went yes please skoda Do I look at bmw and think I made a mistake yes in terms of overall style, but as to running everyday and paying for it NO!!!
  17. One thing only in my mind If you can afford the 330xd I would because it's great if affordability is needed then why even ask ! As the bmw will cost lots more and I mean lots more
  18. I have had s5 v8 ,s4 v6 sc ,porsche 911 991 s ,and now a golf gti ! Ok I can see you eyebrows raised lol The 911 was awesome but bankrupted me,so a new family calls ,golf gti pp has fitted the bill,if you spank it it's great,if you want comfort then it's a button press away.i couldn't get the looks m135i and the a class amg was way too much so the golf looks good built well and I enjoy driving it! The main thing in my humble opinion ,drive what you want and be happy . But the car I miss is the s5 v8 just a lovely car Right noise, went well, nice seats S4 quicker but oh it didn't have character ! Basically one mans great car another's mmm not so sure! You pays ya money if your lucky your find a car you love to own and drive N BUT it's not always easy to find or keep !
  19. The s3 is quick but seems devoid of character like the s4 nice quick car but no character in my opinion . The golf has some not loads but some and at a price that's good value in my opinion The 135 is ugly small interior, if they had the m235i when I bought the golf then I would have tested that! As two door or 3 door golf mmmm I like the amg a class I drove that and loved it but 50k no way I personally think it's 10k too much sure merc won't agree ! Personally the vrs octi was on the list but the mrs liked the elegance so we both got what we wanted.
  20. Might get shot down But I drove s3 and pp golf gti for the money and in real world driving I choose the gti,the s3 is "just a tad safe boring almost " in my opinion and I have owned a s5 with v8 "still miss her" an s4 which I don't miss lol I love the golf when you get it by the scruff of the neck it performs very well, but then is "normal golf" when it needs to be The s3 was nice but only nice!! couldn't justify the extra expense, yes the interior is nicer but not that much nicer
  21. Where do I pay my deposit ? Tsi 280bhp with four wheel drive please ,I know no chance http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/skoda/octavia/85596/skoda-visionc-concept-car-officially-revealed
  22. I'm not going to do silly depths but some cars like renaults are silly low
