Mine did the same - race blue SE. Skoda's paintwork warranty was about as much use as its 'quality' paintwork. Got it done at a local bodyshop for £100 - now good as new.

I've thought of going for Octavia wheels, but most I've seen on here would then need a refurb and new tyres which = £££ I'm going to be shelling out on a cambelt/water pump/wishbone bush change too next week, so need to conserve the pennies! Keep on coming with the suggestions.

Hey folks, just got our 2007 SE back from the menders as it had a massive clonking noise from the underside, particularly on full/near full lock when steering. Usual things were suspected...ARB, bushes, gearbox mounting etc... None of which fixed it... Then had a new drive shaft....still got the CLONK! Finally Skoda UK sent an assessor who worked out it was a faulty hub and wheel bearing...no more CLONK! Cost Skoda a fortune; thank goodness for warrantys! So if you get a loud CLONK! It could be your hub/bearing.

No opinions on these then?

Howsabout if I wanted it to match the black plastic of the grill? Not sure shiny black magic will work for me with the race blue; may just have to go race blue with it...

Hi all, I'm after either spraying a grill black match the rest of the grill - quite like the chunkiness this creates, or perhaps race blue to match the rest of my car. Nice, but I'd take the stickers off personally for that stealth look. They look quite 'industrial' - in a good way.
