Just had my first service and decided to use Simpsons Preston. Very impressed with Phil the service manager who looked after a few warranty issues I had. Very good service car valeted and a loaner too. Will return when I am ready to swap my car (just go's to show that good service breeds new sales) Woodheads Blackpool could have learned a great deal from Simpsons............R.I.P.

Depends on the cost if its cheap........ Having said that when I test drove the Octy vRS I wanted to know how it would proform. Took it for the day up and down the motorway ! So yes they will get a bit of stick. Get your friend to ask the dealer for a full warranty package so they can take it back if something went wrong.

I have only once used a normal octane fuel which promted SHMBO to complain the next day about noticiable difference in proformance. :P I too noticed a difference ! I use V Power all the time now. even when it reached

I wanted a sat nav cos I was sick of my missus directions Didn't want to spend much as I will prob only use it a few times a year. However i wanted the speed camara locations loaded. I went for the garmin i3 after ages of looking at several different units. I paid£117 with all camara locations pre loaded. This little sat nav is absolutely brilliant warns u of up and coming well in advance and the voice isn't irritating etc. can highly reccomend. If you want one just for every now and again.

These are brilliant but expensive though

Hi all Just looking into purchasing a new vRS Octavia been reading the forum for many weeks now and decided to sign up today. Currently own a Freelander Td4 which I have had three good years but decided I needed a change. Friend at work has had two Octavia vRS 1.8 and swears by them. Have being eyeing up a new vRs and contacted my local dealer the other day to as him to quote me so watch this space. Live in Blackpool a few mins away from another member of this forum who owns Taylors chippy. I have been today to look at his silver vRs as I am not sure wether to go for silver or black?????
