    Yes I've a camera in mine. I ran my cable down the pillar away from airbag equipment, wire just tucked in headlining. My camera is quite small and does not intrude on mirror and its sensors.
    The power is taken off 12v accessory socket supply which I have changed to an ignition live by using a fuse link. It is a real pain getting to fuse box as its a bit of a joke having to remove glove box which requires use of flat blade screw driver to unclip hinge gizmo. So yes it is doable to fit camera just not a hugely easy task!!
