Fitted mine last week. Haven't had anymore problems popping hoses. I put some blobs of mig welds round the end of the stainless pipe so that if the silicone hose starts to slip the clamps should pull against the welds & stop it from blowing off. Quicker & cheaper than putting a bead on. Just need to do my bottom hoses now. I'm sure one is leaking!

Yeah. I'll let you know. I've gone for black hoses. Just done elephant mod also. Looking forward to some trouble free motoring now.

Sounds like the lugs have worn off the end of the hose. Prob need new hose & clips. Don't just keep refitting it like I did. Mine took a chunk out of the neck of the intercooler in the end.

Interested in the intercooler & rubber pipe. Where in the world are you?
