  2. Someone put my name down please And a message nearer the tine would behandy so I dont forget
  3. Heard allot of them being good. Ordered
  4. Mine are on the too do list again. Reminds me lol
  5. Parking up quickly after allot of braking. Or (just a note. Not saying you are) some people follow cars too close and seem to be constantly braking. Even when the car ahead is going one speed. They follow. Brake power. Brake power brake power if your doing that. Your breaks will get stupid hot. Even in towns. do you live or work in a hilly area? Coming down a hill before parking up? You dont have to be holding the brake pedal to warp discs when hot. If you simply stop and release the brakes. You will still warp them as the pad is always in contact. Causing uneven heat disapation Did your uncle clean off the ruse before fitting new discs? Alittle bit of rust on hub can make disc sot unevenly making it give the warp effect. Could be a bad batch of discs??? all of the above are possible ideas. None of them could be true. Could be a binding caliper making a pad stick slightly as you drive. Causing heat to build up. And when you stop. It caught in one place. May have thrown more questions than answers. But worth looking into. You can always take wheel off and get it put into gear with both front wheels off. Amd use soemthibg like a pen or pencil. And hold against caliper(to hold steady) then point the tip on the surface of the brake disc. You will see if its distorted straight away. Hold the tip a fraction from the spinning disc and see the the gap stays the same or occoletes slightly. It should stay the same note. Dont put your fingers where they can get trapped. Use first gear. Make sure both front wheels are off
  6. Just go to any car part shop and give them reg. They should tell you .
  7. I find the more expensive tyres designed with being goodon tarmac are crap on wet grass. But budbudget tyres have more cross cut designs and are better on grass.
  8. Bridgestone protanzas 3? The best one in the range
  9. I thought you fit a revised egr gasket plate with a smaller hole to stop the shudder at 1800/2000revs when toodling around? Revised gasket and blanking plate are 2 different things?? Maybe wrong though lol To stop eml coming on. Simply map out
  10. Tried continentals.. ok then goodyear better then bridgestone protanzaz great Now im on vredrestien sportrak 5's they are amazing. Made the bridgstones feel like budgets. Infact they are as good in wet as bridgstones are in the dry they are quite tricky to get hold of but worth it. German made (enough said). They even have good looking sidewalls
  11. Sounds like you have warped your discs again. Warping discs is drivers fault not a natural fault most of the time. If the wheel wobble under braking went away for a period then come back. You have warped them again Bad condition console bushes will cause the wheel to pull to one side under braking. (As the wheel pulls the swing arm towards rear of car under braking it alters the ache of the steering wheel making the vehicle turn) But if your changing your console bushes anyway. I advise wd40 and too use either polibush or seat bushes. Polibushes push in by hand
  12. Hopefully. No one knows where your located...
  13. I put it down to my injectors getting tired now and the lovely cold air being denser and giving more power
  14. I love how mine sounds like a lumpy tractor when irs really cold . I just let it tick over for a min then set out driving. Take it noce a steady till its warm and then away we go. One thing ive noticed... I never ever ever need to wait for spark plugs. I just turn and start instantly. Ignoring the glowplig light and always starts on first turn. Never known an enfine like it
  15. I use county stretch seat covers. Avaliable on amazon. Nothing fancy but fit very well. My temp sest covers are snap on as I go mad for anything with snapon wrote on it haha
  16. Ohh and the other thing to make it handle better. Be a good driver. Nice and smooth and balanced. If you know how to keep the car ballanced and weight it right through the corners and letbthe straight line speed do its work. remeber you got a nice lump of an engine to pull you along.. it will never go like a mini. Instead of thinking about going round corners fast. Concentrate about setting up for coming quick of the corners. In the corners go in slower. Keep the car ballenced and then put your power down nice and smoothly and early as you can, letting the car run as wide put the corner as you can. Oh and dont be puttinf the powrr on too soon so you have to let off again Everyone says it's not best handling car in the world(they are right) if you just go chucking it into corners. Adapt your driving. Use the big iron pendulum to your advantage. Ease it into the corners amd keep it all balanced. If you snap into corner ypur break traction. Once you do this you have already lost the battle as you have to slow down more to get that grip back. The smoother you are with steering.brakes and throttle. The more you can push it I have no problem keeping up with a mk1 focus rs with plenty done too it. And thats not described as a crap handling car
  17. Get a trusty friend or even the missus if you tell what to do before hand. Jack front os up. Get underneath with the new belt ready. Get abover person to push tensioner (if its the missus push tensioner first then get her to hold it) then get them to unhoop top pf belt. You wprk bottom. Then pass new belt up the same gap and once they put it on. Put the bottom of the belt on if done like that its a piece of cake and takes about 5mins of setup (taking off top boost pipe and jacking up) and about 20seconds to change the belt and nice and simple. Once the old belt is off. Try and be swift in getting new belt on and plan one step ahead at this part. Becuae if the tensioner slips without the belt on the job will become abit of a pain. Oh and dont put your pinky's where they can get trapped!

  20. Polibush console bushes. Whiteline RARB vredrestien sportrak 5 tyres job done
  21. yeh. Just out of curiosity I went to a tuning place (well known for tuning and specialists in scoobies) and asked what they can do to my car .... fella reckoned good for 220 from just a remap and over 250 with a hubrid turbo fitted so I wont be going there :P
  22. I dont know. Never even looked for replay on a fabia haha. Can imagine they will be far from the fuse box. But headlight switch is easy too take out . Simply push the switch inwards about half centimeter(you till feel it push in) then rotate into headlight on position while pressed in. Then the whole switch will pull out
  23. 2 choices go out and buy a 2l fabia. Strip AALLLLL the parts and put onto your fabia. Messing around wjth headaches. Parts not coming apart abd goinf togethwr as they shoild. Parts that dont seem to want to ever fit. Part rhat you think (is this the 1.4 or the 2.0 part) then you end up with a 2l fabia and I scrap fabia. orr buy a 2l fabia and Insure it
