Hi everyone, I need some help fairly urgently... My rear driver side door has stopped unlocking. It started playing up a couple of days ago but would unlock with a few bashes on the button on the center console but has now stopped unlocking all together. Can someone advise as to what the problem might be and how i can remove the door card with the door shut. Need the help urgently because i'm expecting my first child due in the next week or so. Thanks in advance

My turbo is at 145k and im experiencing a very similar problem (the squeaking noise). I'm starting to worry about how much longer my turbo will last as ive had a stage 1 map on the car for about the last 35k.

Hi everyone, I have a problem with my mk1 vrs so please can somebody shed some light. Whilst driving the engine will suddenly cut power and will nothing I can do about it apart from stop and restart the engine which seems to work. My thinking is it could just be a sensor somewhere but I am worried that as the car has done 145k miles it could be something more serious e.g turbo. The car is still on the original turbo and has been stage 1 for about the last 30k. Any help or advice greatly appreciated.

They mapped my fabia and cannot fault them. Only issue is if your car is lowered it may not go on the rollers. They charge £250 for bespoke map but as my car didnt fit on the rollers (with coilovers as high as possible) they charged me £200 for a flash on.

Would mk1 octavia seats fit in a mk1 fabia?

What kind of power could a brand new oem clutch cope with? Im going to ned a new clutch very soon and not sure whether to get uprated or not, bear in mind im on a stage 1 remap and considering going to pd150 turbo.

Its a shame because if they were smooth they would be amazing to drive!

I went at the beginnin of last month, by far the worst roads ive driven on!

Just to add, the long pipe that goes across the width of the car isnt supported in any way. However I found a tapped hole in the block so I welded a bracket onto the pipe and mounted it to this hole. Ill get a pic tomoro for you. It just helps support the pipe and keep it more secure and away from the radiator hose that runs alongside
