There is normally a number/reference attached to it. Ask your dealer if they can share/tell you that It may help someone else but glad you got it sorted

@SashaGrace do you need to disconnect the battery on the new stuff before you remove the display? Still haven't got round to changing over my USB socket since i got mine (lazy i know)

DSG boxes need an oil change and they are 60k or 6 years i think (may be 5)

Nothing too major fault wise but if you spend long enough on here you may get DSG paranoia like had for a week (assuming you want DSG?) If you are looking then check if its had the water pump done While i have gone TSI rather than TDI i dont think you will go wrong either way

I can only speak from experience of Vauxhall/Fiat stop start with a manual box. You need to stopped out of gear and with nothing too power consuming running for it to work. Once it stops you need to dip the clutch or let the vehicle roll over about 5mph and the engine kicks back in. On my Octavia (Only had it for a week) its DSG so im guessing has anti-stall as it has clunked a couple of times this morning while it finds finds D1 when i try to set off. I suspect that is one of two things though. Car is re-learning my driving style of there is an issue with the gearbox (hope not but thankfully i have extended warranty)

Doesn't sound normal. Does it happen if you hold 1st gear longer than normal?

So far they are minor as mine was owned by another Briskoda member before me. I have just picked up a new USB socket to enable CarPlay. Over the weekend i may have accidentally ordered a new front emblem and a keyfob cap from SuperSkoda and then some DSG extensions from ebay.

Your youngest has very good taste. My old man still has his green 95 Impreza in the garage. Not quick these days but still good fun to drive
