Folks - Really sorry for the delay here. Have a video that is on the other half's phone but it's 29MB in size so she couldn't gmail the file. I got all work carried out in "Dublin Tint", they are a great bunch of lads, reasonable too.

I picked up an elegance in Ireland and the down lighters in the mirrors were missing... Funny that as they were in the late mk II models over here

I ended up just getting the black wrap on the front grill. I was too late in getting the Black pack. The pictures don't do any justice to how good it really looks in the black. One of my favourite mods...

In Ireland the maximum allowed for the NCT ( UK MOT ) is 30 % . I got 35% on the front and 5% on rear. If I was doing it again I'd go 35% on front 25% rear. May look a little like a comercial

It turns out it's the normal suspension, had requested Sports suspension but ended up with heated seats instead. Somebody must know something I don't know about the coming winter

I actually thought they were included but after inspecting they only come the Xenon headlight set... Bit peeved off but I'll get over it.

After a very long waith I finally have my Octivia home. I've made one or two mods from when I collected the car. It's a 1.6 diesel elegance with a few extras. Coming from a 2011 2.0 Octivia I have to say the performace is emm average at best - speed is fine but torque is absent. Other than that I can't fault the car. Pictures below were taken in the rain so may not look so good. Thanks everyone on the site for the input, you've all being a great help when specing. Initally the front grill looked like this... PEkoSI , Will make a video over the weekend. The signal are standard bulbs along with the fog light. The LED is only brake and tail light...

I spec'd it into the Octivia I picked up today / really good feature... Well worth the €14 I had to pay

Have I mad one major error... My Octavia elegance in the garage which is now ready for collection. I asked the garage to drop it down to get the window tint carried out as I've had in my previous mark II Octivia. When I was there I started to talk to the guy that carries out the work - Before I knew it I had agreed to getting a black gloss roof along with the window tint The external spec is as follows - Elegance, Candy white, 18" Golus, Sports suspension, LED rear lights, No engine label. With the mix of Candy white / Black roof along with 18" Golus and tinted windows look OTT. What's the thoughts folks... It's not to late to change my mind on the roof.

I agree to an point but deep down I feel a little bit shafted that the siginal/indicator light is not LED... Anyway, I'll stick up the pictures on Thursday when I collect.

I'm collecting a Octavia on Thursday with the LED rear lights. Will be able to give more information then.
