Ive got a 53 plate VRS which is my daily runabout for work (im an IT Field engineer) but that hasnt stopped me from modding it. It runs on lpg and has a CAI, custom twin pass large front mount IC, baily dump valve and several costmetic bits not worth mentioning. Im going to replace the down pipe with a lager one and also fit a sports cat but want a 2.5" system which sounds more sporty than it does now. Dont get me wrong i dont want this to be loud as i have to use it every day and have to arrive on customers sites so i want a subtle sport exhaust note. What are ppl recomending. I was thinking about a Miltek twin box system. Kyle

Ive got a 53 vrs and its brilliant but ive found myself doing more and more miles especially on the motorway (5000 last month!!!) and as a result got to thinking it would be usefull to have a blind spot mirror similar to the drivers side. I assume the lhd octavia one will fit. Anyone know the part number??? Kyle

Ok for starters ive had 4 previous 1.8t cars all of which have been either A4's or A6's. On the last 2 A4's I had I started playing and in particular my 150bhp AEB motor. This only ran 6 psi spiking to 9 during load. (Figures from my boost controller). Now My vRS seems to pull really well but doesnt seem like its running as much boost as it is. Certainly doesnt feel like its chipped but maybe it is. It perminently runs nearly 10psi spiking upto as much as 14 psi under load. IS THIS NORMAL??? or is the car chipped. Im hoping its not cause i was hoping for a bit more go than its currently got. Kyle

Where is the window control unit and connecting plug then??? It should be under warrenty but skoda cant touch it till late next week

Hi all, Ive been lurking for a while but as is always the way my first post is a fault. Ive had my Octy I VRS for a few months now and its ace. But tonight the door light came on and stayed on. Checked all the doors, boot to no avail. Also no interior lights. Tried to lock the car using the remote and that did nothing. Any ideas??? I have no alarm and I have to leave my car in manchester during the day. HELP!!! Kyle
