Has anyone come across this? Originally I had a severe coolant leak last summer while weather was hot (empty every few days or so), took it to the garage, on a quick inspection they couldnt see exactly where it was coming from but thought water pump and housing would need replacing. I challenged this as the water pump had only been replaced fairly recently. Anyway, weather got cooler so stopped using A/C and no leaks. I've actually done about 4000 miles and filled it once. Used A/C this morning accidentally on a short return journey while de-misting window and on return journey could see that id left a long trail of coolant. Any suggestions as to what this could be?

Can anyone help or give any suggestions to a solution. Over the last week or so I've noticed a couple of flakes of paint come off my rear bumper. There's now 4 as of today. There is no other damage or scratches on the bumper so clearly it's not hit or been hit by anything. It's a 66 plate with only 6000 miles so I don't understand it? I've added a picture for you to see. Im open to suggestions.

Ive been advised today that my new VRS is at the UK port and has been there for 2 days. Has anyone had any experience of how long it takes to be delivered from th UK port? Thanks

Hi, Did you find out what the problem is? Ive got almost identical problem on my Octavia VRS, noise coming from nearside front wheel, only when turning right. Its been in to the garage and they said it was the brake discs rubbing. Ive now had pads and discs replaced but still have the noise. Any suggestions?

DPF removal doesnt fail an MOT, mine was removed before I bought my car and ive put it through 3 MOT's since - all in different garages with no problems at all. I am wondering what will happen when my car goes in for recall after January? will Skoda see that the DPF has been romoved? will they care? is it likely to cause me problems? Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you

Hi , I wonder if anyone can help me, I have recently bought a 2010 octavia vrs tdi and have really strange noise that gets louder the longer i am stationary. It seems like its coming from behind the dash and is quite loud from inside the car but when you lift the bonnet you cant hear it. As for the noise it is really difficult to explain as ive never heard anything like it before. Has anyone got any suggestions?

Ive just bought a 2010 octavia Vrs with same problem, only just noticed it today......did you manage to find out what the problem was or solve it?

I have just bought a 2010 Octavia VRS Tdi and have a very similar noise. I can only hear it at low speeds, under 30mph. Im a bit concerned about it as it doesnt sound good. The brake calipera and pads were changed about 10k ago and the discs seem to be in good condition. The strange thing is, the noise is much louder when im not braking so im not convenced its the brakes and I dont really know what to do?
