  1. Fantastic! Thanks so much for the quick response!
  2. Thanks for all the amazing info Arkaig! Can I be cheeky and ask if you have manual for the DKZA (190 TSI) engine please? Thanks again!
  3. I've just purchased a pre-reg 20 plate Karoq Sportline 2.0 TSI 190 4x4 DSG. I've part ex'd my Superb Sportline 280 4x4 DSG after owning a couple of years (great car, but had to do sell as the lower down seating position hurts my back). Before the Superb, I owned a Yeti 170 TDI 4x4 manual (I remapped for fuel economy so was probably more like 200bhp) for over 100K miles , which was as yet, the best car I've owned. I am looking forward to getting the Karoq and seeing how the 190 TSI and DSG work for me.. The Yeti was great fun to drive - the Superb less so (it felt it's size!), so fingers crossed this gives an entertaining drive. Picking it up next week..
  4. Hi all, I've managed nearly 42,500 miles on the original Dunlops on my 2013 Yeti 4x4 170bhp. Really wasn't expecting this sort of distance out of them, and still got some life left, may make 45,000, but possibly pushing it. Worn really evenly (think it is how the Yeti sits on the road). Now thinking of what to replace them with now. Tempted to stick with Dunlop as I have no complaints, but any recommendations very welcome. According to blackcircles.com: Existing tyre rating: Dunlop SP SPORT 01 225/50 R17 94W Fuel Efficiency: F Wet Grip: B External rolling noise: 68db Price: £113.48 each fitted blackcircles.com show a Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tyre with a B rating for fuel efficiency (though are 1 db louder): Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance 225/50 R17 W (98) Fuel Efficiency: B Wet Grip: A External rolling noise: 68db Comments welcome and does anyone know if there Is a genuine approved list available for this car at all?
  5. Hi all, this is my first post and unfortunately not a very happy one! Not long after purchasing my 170 Yeti, I decided to potter down a track which cut off the journey to work. Came across a large puddle, which turned out to be larger than I had guessed. I pottered my way into it and got stuck. Feck. So picture sitting in your brand new Yeti, in a puddle up to the sills (a bit higher on the passenger or left side) with all four wheels spinning. Beached. Feck. Got towed out by recovery, in the process a metal connector on the tow rope snapped on the first attempt putting a little dink on the boot lid :(, following a good clean found a few scratches on the rear alloys where the wheels had been spinning against stone or something :(. Anyway, not good, but my main worry and reason for the post, it now has a bit of engine noise on idle. Could be clutch (I initially had clutch slip and the pedal took a few minutes to return to full travel), but wondering what else it could be. It's like an intermittent chuffing noise related to the engine speed. It's going into my local garage to diagnose the noise, but any advice on what to look out for would be extremely useful. Thanks!
