Even then, that is in no way a fair comparison. Between 20-24, you're far more likely to be in a 10 year old small hatchback with limited crash protection and dated safety features. Put younger drivers in newer, safer cars and you will see serious injuries and fatalities much decreased.

Fabia 1.9TDI Elegance 06 - Should i sell ?
brettblade replied to Hudson1's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
1.9TDi is one of the most reliable engines on the road, 57k is barely run in! -
Find your nearest Autosmart rep, and go from there. Quality products at much lower cost without all the retail hype.

As you are extremely close by, it would be rude not to ask what you have that would fit my PD130 Ibiza? -
Does look like Smart Wheels!

Fabia pagid pads any good
brettblade replied to pete_fabbie_vrs's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Well just to be clear, I think PAGID pads are pretty good. PAIGE pads, on the other hand, are probably crap (likely as they don't exist ha!). -

I assume the capitalisation is to point out my rather embarrassing autocorrect fail ha? -

Paige all round (inc discs) on my Ibiza, no problems at all, recommend them in fact. -
Really? A car with 93000 miles is done? I've seen 1.4 petrol Fiestas with over 250k on the clock, nothing ever changed apart from the usual consumables that you would expect over that mileage. Just because needs a clutch, it does not mean it's life is over. If your printer runs out of ink, do you throw that away as well? How about if your kettle blows a fuse? 93000 miles is nothing at all on a modern, well maintained car.
