thanks all for the feedback, some useful comments in there. Peugeot, Hyundai - err, no. Reason for a Skoda over BMW, Merc and Audi is the level of equipment & features for a lot less money.

After two yellow Octavia vRS's (one '06 plater and my current '14 car , with a Leon FR and Audi A5 in between, all company cars) the time has come to look at my next vehicle ... With the Octavia order books currently closed a Superb is looking like an option ; indeed, I test drove a 280PS 4x4 earlier in the week - what a car ! Any thoughts on 220PS 'vs' 280PS 4x4 , especially around daily usage and fuel economy, would be greatly appreciated ...

Hi folks, Now the early morning's are getting chillier started to use the heated front seats (leather) ; they seem a little different from previous cars in the areas that are heated and I just want to check with others if they're as they should be. Basically the lower half of the backrest is heated nicely, and the part of the seat which is stitched (under your butt) seems ok; but the front half of the seat (no stitching, where your thighs rest) is not heated - is this correct ... ? many thanks, Steve

Thanks again guys; yep, it'll never get lost or 'not seen' on the road. I had a Mk2 which was also sprint yellow - have they kept the same name and changed the colour ? doesn't look much different to me ? (there was a noticable change between Mk1 and Mk2 yellows).

Ordered 15th November, delivered to dealer today, collecting Monday 31st March.

Spoke to dealer today - my car was delivered to them today.
