  1. For sale, based in NW All usual Scout refinements: Black metallic, 4x4, 2.0cr TDi, cruise control, auto lights/wipers, dual-zone climate control, electric heating mirrors, auto dimming rear view mirror, 6 CD autochanger. Full size spare wheel. Recent cambelt and water pump change and service (history complete) Premium Michelin Crossclimate all-season tyres. Economical and 100% reliable. Currently on 95,000 miles, almost exclusively all gentle motorway commute miles. MOT due August. Body and interior in great condition for age. A few stone chips on bonnet and, being up front, the alloys could do with a refurb- never been curbed but have suffered the standard Scout alloy issue. Have been quoted around £250 to get this done but never had time.
  2. Unimpressed. Took my Octavia Scout in for a haldex oil change which went smooth enough. Asked them to look at the wheels which have badly delaminated (well known defect). Was told I would have to pay for the wheels to be repaired, at which point they would then consider whether they would put them in as a warranty fix. This is a disgraceful way to treat customers, and they just don't care. Secondly, they (without requesting) undertook a 'health check' in my car whilst it was in for the oil change. They informed me that three of the tyres had nails in (the front two tyres were admittedly worn and where scheduled to be replaced be following day). I asked my local independent tyre fitters to change the two worn ones and repair the nail puncture to the third- guess what..... they didn't find a nail! I was also offered an oil top up at cost as it was low (it wasn't on checking) and a washer fluid top up at cost (a little tight?). On a plus note they did pick the car up and drop it off cleaned afterwards.
  3. Nice write up- a little cheap maybe?!! http://www.pistonheads.com/regulars/ph-spottedykywt/daihatsu-charade-gtti-spotted/31947
  4. Does this enable you to stream music inc track name details?
  5. I'm interested- is it the rubber heavy duty liner with cutouts for the lashing eyes?
  6. Hi- do you know if this will work in my 2013 Mk2 Octavia Scout with Bolero but no Maxidot? Do you know if it can stream stereo audio from an iPhone 6? If so I'm much interested...
  7. Did anyone get round to getting a CR140 Scout remapped?
  8. My (limited) understanding is that Gen 2 isn't a pre-tensioned device but relies on a pump that activates once slippage occurs. Gen 4 is pre-tensioned meaning it reacts AS the wheel slips, not ONCE is occurs.
  9. I've thought about this and have just resolved to getting an ipad with a headrest mount instead. Far more functionality...
  10. I was trying to bid on them, but no luck :(
  11. Hi Eddie- do you ever venture North England or even to Northamptonshire'ish at any point?
  12. Is this everything I'd need to add BT to my 2013 Bolero? Does it stream audi too?
  13. Mine isn't even a year old and has the dreaded white threading beginning to appear....
