hey all ive got an airbag light on my mk 2 octy vrs and my vagcom that i had for my mk 1 doesnt seem to recognise the mk 2 reading up i dont have the right cable for the mk 2 is there anyone local to halifax/rochdale/burnley (im more than happy to travel to them) that could do me a huge favour this weekend and give it a scan and save me getting hammered by the dealer

weve had the same problem with our 1.4 16v fabia originally it started using oil and smoking bad on start up diagnosed it as valve stem oil seals had the seals done as well as a new head gasket cam belt ect stopped the smoking on start up but was still using oil my question is crank case breather where is it and how do you clean it also did this oil stabaliser work i put a pice of A4 under the exhaust and rev ved the car once= soot on the paper my golf there is nothing so its definatly burning oil

love the ek9's been looking into one for the missus.. owt i should look out for (got a thing for JDM's at the moment)

i remember driving an iveco turbo daily and the gearbox was in upside down if i remember correctly

we have had both an arosa tdi s and a lupo tdi sport the lupo is def the better car out of the 2 we had the lupo mapped to 112 bhp and it went like stink and still returned 60+ mpg. insurance wasnt that much different 2 groups i think but was worth it with the interior of the lupo but the arosa is less "girlie" looking

I got some stick for driving my skoda but no where near as much as i get for driving a subaru lol

is ther one thursday and if so will anyone be fetching vagcom i have a couple of niggles oon the golf just noticed its next week when i am on lates anyone local to halifax got vagcom i could use saves me going to a steeler
