does the vrs have a waste spark unit like the mk4 golf? if so look into that. my friends 280bhp golf had a misfire under load and it turned out to be that unit

Im looking at getting a mk1 1.8t vrs within the next month or so and was wondering what sort of first mods you guys would recommend? I've seen a bit about removing the sai. Is it worth while even with a standard car? Also the same with the forge 007 diverter valve? And has anyone used Job coilovers and are they any good? hi guys im tony and at the moment a have a mondeo st tdci and i am looking at getting an octavia vrs tdi within the next few months.. ive got some questions tho. are there any particular things to keep an eye out for mechanical wise? what kind of tuning options are there for it? cheers in advance
