  6. If it has a snowflake it's winter capable . Ignore m+s in your case. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Mine had inner workings removed after 200k ! It's done 214000 and the car feels and has been fine after the correct map was used. If your doing motorway miles (50 miles a day sort if thing) just leave it in because it wouldn't be a problem . Ash content needs to be checked and the sensors can play up that's all . Mine could no longer re-gen enough and DPF delete was a cheaper option. MOT will be fine as long as all components are in place and sensors as they should be . The map ( if good ) will sort the emissions . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. My mate at work helped me clean the back.... Nice guy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Again thank you for all your help, but is it passion or small man syndrome that creates the aggression on this forum ? It's so clicky !!!!! Let all just try to get along ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  10. Thank you all. Very helpful, time to slam the shizza ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  11. Stick with me on this..... I'm planning on lowering the Fabia, it's going to be very low and my roll bar bushes have started knocking well... Banging.. When running low I've heard the roll bar can hit the drive shaft so my thoughts are to just to remove it completely . Has anyone done this before ? I'm not going for handling just looks. 12. Slave cylinder I'd go for, my Golf did the same and it was fine after that. And it's the cheapest fix first. Clutch and DMF ideally need to be removed to confirm unless obvious clatter and clutch slip . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  13. Sold ! :-) To the old guy who doesn't like air con ... Joking aside very happy it's gone and I waited out for full asking price . And one very happy buyer, he's got a good car. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  14. Osilascope ? test found a weak signal going to the ECU, wiring loom joining block near the battery on the inner wing was corroded and shot. Cut in out, joined the loom ( properly ) and booooom !!!! It lives again. ;-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
  15. Cam timing is checked (much to the annoyance of the guy that did it) and all ok. The thing is its always started nice and quick before and after the cambelt was done. The bill is running up now and the car cost me £900... Thinking I may need to set a budget to say no that's it and buy another Fabia. At least ill have spares for the next few years lol.
