Recently I noticed when switching to Reverse gear, the duration it takes to effect the shift seems longer the usual..... should I be worried ?
-
After much struggle, removed undertray and stretched my arm up ... pulled the cable and it popped. Although the connector between the 2 pieces of cable is right, it seems the have dislodged inside. Open it up, made sure it sit properly, closed it and zip tied it.
-
Pulled my arch liner off and pulled the cable. It has tension and heard a few snaps (suspect they are the clips). Bonnet stay shut. Guess my latch must have seized ....
-
Thank you ! Our bonnet latch seems to be VERY WELL concealed ! Looking through the grille using a torch, I can hardly find any opening to reach the latch. Will probably need to send it into the workshop...

I've the exact same problem, @cmcm789 how did you managed to fix it ?

VRS with Soundaktor ?
silverstream replied to silverstream's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013)
Thanks ! Just curious after reading it on the GTi.... The car is still loud, looking for ways to quieten it down -
Interesting reading up the GTi has this noisemaker and soundaktor thingy installed to amplify the engine sound. Wonder if it exist in our VRS too ?
-
Any one know if the stock Golf Mk6 GTi muffler is a direct swap item with our VRS ?
-
Does anyone has the rear brake pad part # for the FL VRS? Any idea if it uses the same rear brake pad as mkV GTi?
-
I noticed that if I turn the steering wheel to the extreme left or right, I can hear some movement sound from the rear axle. I'm just wondering if Skoda (VRS) has any rear wheel steering mechanism that aid reducing turning radius ?
-
As compressor uses piston to pump the gas, similar there'll be metal residue in the system. So the recommendation is to discharge the old gas and regas it. Make sense?
-
Yes.... And decided to try another adapter,it works :-| speechless.... The first 2 somehow must had konked out when I transferred them....... Thanks all

Yeap, the +ve has wordings on it. I confirm by checking the cig lighter end, it's connected to the tip. And when I connect up a light it works. When I connect up my In Car Camera, the fuse blows....... the camera uses a 2A fuse. Something must be causing it to draw more than 2A ? Then subsequently the 5A fuse blow ! Something is very wrong somwhere
