Lots of white smoke since first service
stefano1 replied to Orville's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Triple check its not steam...I have the same and did a thread...search 'white smoke'....it was water vapour in the exhaust system and there is a video of a similar thing in the thread. My dealer confirmed the issue.... -
H&R Springs - A Quick Review
stefano1 replied to NotSoSimple's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
I have to admit I found them a bit too harsh but I have always been a coilover fan anyway so always planned to upgrade to KW V1s (as I have done on all my recent cars) so I'm probably not a fair comparator...... -

New Octy III vRS Hatch owner from Yeti
stefano1 replied to Hairball's topic in Skoda Octavia Mk III (2013 - 2020)
Hello...congrats. You've done pretty much exactly the switch I made - even the same yeti model- but my petrol VRS is manual estate. Much as the yeti was great I'm delighted with the vrs after a year's ownership....more space and a pleasure to drive...hope you enjoy it too -
New year bump

Thanks. KW V1 - I'm a bit of a sad fanboy for these - have them on my other car too (and my previous one)...

This pedal set up came standard (mk 6 Golf R)....if anything I prefer the octy normal peddle (manual also) but I don't heel and toe tbh

Hi all Selling my H&R lowering springs as have now moved to coilovers. These are for the new Octavia mk 3 VRS (5E) and are 40mm lower so net 25mm off a VRS I believe as this is already 15mm lower than standard. They are 4M old - fitted late AUG and have done less than 1000 miles Looking for £100 delivered in the UK. Thanks for looking.

I had these S2T paddles as per the other thread put on my golf...not cheap but v impressive/solid and much easier to use in my view also worth paying for an hours labour at a decent garage to get it right.

Wheel brand/name: Speedline Corse SL2 Marmora Size: 18 ET: 45 Tyre: Vredstein Winter Extreme 225/40 R18 92W Any other mods, e.g. springs, coilovers etc: H&R springs Weight: not sure but a lot lighter than stock

Hello Here's mine.... Family wagon - Octavia 3 estate petrol VRS in black. Picked up Jan 2014 and really pleased. Done about 5k miles trouble free Currently have on H&R springs but am about to shift to KW V1's as my delicate behind seems to appreciate them most. V tempted by a Revo tune but as it's the family car I don't want to mess with the engine. Now got some winter alloys on... Other car - VW Golf R convertible This is a bit marmite amg I've messed about with it a fair bit as quite frankly it was pretty poor in standard form. Key changes are smaller 18' BBS alloys, KW v1 coilovers, some front wishbone thingie to help the turn in, and a revo stage 1 tune. Post all my fiddling around it does the job well though I know the convertible will always be compromised. As now below and on delivery...
