  1. I do normally but clutch started slipping and turbo blew and took cooler with it so it was all scrap
  2. Car going in 2 week,forge cooler with custom darkside pipes,td 150 hybrid,solid flywheel,150 air box,full Miltek, is it worth taking off as I will have to buy std replacements
  3. Will check the diary tomoz to see if its my weekend in work,if not I wouldent mind a go on the rollers
  4. Yeah,one on top of turbo and one on egr,if you go on darksides website you can buy a top hose from a polo that does not have the pipe for the egr cooler so you can remove if completely
  5. Hi,replacing a turbo on a blt vrs,quite a lot of the impeller has broke off and made its way around.will it be best to remove all pipes and clean them and flush cooler or is it best to replace the cooler?
  6. My smf kit israted to400bls foot and mapped to 380,been on 2 yrs and lots of abuse and just as good as the day I fitted,smf all the way
  7. Not long,mine was mapped at 76k and slipped on the rollers on the way out!

In manchester,got pd 150 stage 2 hybrid,tarox 6pot front calipers,with brembo drilled discs,full miltec sport exhaust with de cat,pd160 air intake,forge Motorsport intercooler with custom darkside developments top pipe and all alloy and silicone pipes from turbo right through,anti chatter smf with uprated plate good for 400lbs of torque,and some eibach springs too,and a double din jvc touchscreen DVD head unit
  9. Yea and I only have a few of the bits to replace the mods so would have to find some standard parts too :-(
  10. I need a bigger car so will be looking at getting an octavia vrs,I have quite a few mods on my car but is it worth selling as it is or putting it back to standard ?
  11. Would that put the light on the dash?

You would be pretty gutted if you had the belt changed and then later on it developed a water leak (which I have seen happen a few times) and had to pay the labour and poss another belt due to coolant contamination,the pump has done as much work as the belt and guides and tensioners so its a very good idea to change it
  13. Clocked mine as it was a hybrid,should of read it properly lol
  14. Clocking is easy,inlet and exhaust gasket and oil return gasket, but a lot easier to do it from under the car then you can keep manifold on
  15. Don't forget decent fluid,often overlooked but makes a massive difference
  16. Got some 312 calipers with brembo pads for sale if interested,very good but I've upgraded to 6 pots so no longer needed
  17. I'm getting the really loud wastegate noise too,stripped all the pipes and turbo off,changed all seals and did a pressure test,all is well but still the loud noises?
  18. That's great il have a look tomorrow as its stripped down anyway
