Hi all, my wife's 2020 4X4 Edition seems to have a duff USB socket. When a phone is connected for Carplay or Android Auto the cable is hugely positional. I've tested it with different cables and the issue remains, leading me to believe it's the socket and not the cable. I have used compressed air and a pick to make sure there is no debris in the socket, and I've sprayed with contact cleaner. Neither of these have helped the situation. I think I'm going to need to replace the socket completely. Would this be a warranty job, the car is just about to turn 3? If it isn't, how difficult is it to remove the existing socket? I've looked on YT and can't find a video or a tutorial anywhere. I'm not phased by removing trim, I've stripped the dash out of my A Class and my Focus previously. I just don't want to remove more than I have to. If anyone can advise then I would be extremely grateful. Jon.
