  1. 41 and 42 pick my second one up in a couple of weeks
  2. had 2 vrs octy diesels and then went to 140 adventure love the car serious fun on back roads can upset all sorts of cars just the brakes let it down a little when pushed hard and the seats are crap on lower models but am considering going back to an octy in the shape of a 184 dsg scout
  3. A go few years ago a german tuning company shoe horned a V8 into an A3 so out will fit it just depends on how deep your pockets are
  4. machine mart is a good place to go this will do your job with ease Product Code: 020110772 good stable jack
  5. thank chaps for your input am hunting for some elegance seats now but they seem to be like the proverbial rocking horse ****. nearly chopped her in for another octy VRS that my local dealer has but could not get the numbers to stack up
  6. DarrellGB do you know what colour they are, if black could you message me some contact info
  7. useful info that muddyboots the tiguan looks almost identical perhaps r-line spec could be nice, best fit would be some elegance spec seats but have been unable to find any at a sensible price if I had been able to drive an adventure spec yeti before purchase then wouldn't have bought one but never gave it a thought that there was no lumbar adjustment just assumed it was there when spending 21 grand on a car lol
  8. Hi all am looking to replace the front seats in my adventure as am fed up with the lack of lumbar support was thinking of getting some S-Line seats from an Audi but what model would fit its either a case of swop out the front seats and store the originals till sale time or change the car which I don't really want to do as I love the car
  9. don't know about other dealers, but my local one collects the car from the wife's work and delivers it back washed and hovered out they do this for everything don't matter if I'm paying or not
  10. all being well the misses and I will be there as long as I haven't traded in her adventure before then lol
  11. Granted NFU aren't the cheapest around but l personally don't mind they were only about £150 dearer than other reputable providers and the have a local office to me so you can deal face to face, the cheapest quote isn't always the best. Chan110 google your nearest office and give em a call
  12. When I got my winters for the octy spoke to NFU and they said no problem now we know you can swap back and fourth without contacting them again
  13. Lilly as the wife calls her is a top motor have never driven a car that can be thrashed down a B road, munched miles ont motorway and as I have found out over the last couple of weekends is very competent off road on her winter boots. It amazes me how well it performs coming from an octy VRS,only thing that lets her down for us is the lack of any lumbar support in the seats toyed with swapping it for a FL but would lose too much money.
