All torque

Afternoon all, My Vrs EML came on last week so I booked it in a local garage to have it checked. When it was scanned, no fault codes were found, but it did say "unknown error" The car runs fine, no issues at all apart from the EML being on. Anybody have any ideas?

100% agree with this. I have owned the same - pd Vrs and now a Tsi Vrs. Came away from the diesel simply because of the endless DPF problems I got.

I`ve just jumped in the car to pick the mrs up from work and the engine wont start. ESP fault on the dash but its making a very loud and fast "clicking" noise from the engine when trying to turn it over. All was fine this morning. Any pointers to whats wrong? Awaiting the AA to arrive now. Limited Edition Tsi btw............

I bought these 2 years ago - best money I ever spent. They really do work, never got stuck once. Bit of a pain to put on a VRS - not enough clearance under the arches.....

Thought this had just changed to 2 years? - dismiss an employee within 2 years of start of employment and they cant raise a tribuneral?

I`m an employer of 25 people and ACAS will be your best route. For some reason people seem to think ACAS is only there for employees for some reason. I use them all the time to ensure I do everything right. Just remember to give the whole story not just your side.

My wife got me one for christmas a couple of years ago - a full set - sharpening strap, badger hair brush ect. Use it all the time now. Took a while to get used to it, but its just as easy as using a modern one. Very expensive tho IMO.

Ive got this noise - thought it was normal.

Try replacing the wiper blades - I had a bent one on mr mk1 Vrs and this solved it.

Sounds like this guy could make a fortune if he charges for this "service" !!

Thanks for the reply everyone. She is going to change her number - the calls just keep coming. Somebody somewere needs to take action on companies who do this.

Posting this on behalf of my mother in law. She is recieving a lot of these calls (like most of us) now its to the point of over 10 a day. She doesnt think there from the same company but the callers never have a british accient........ Yesterday she had one person saying hes going to come into her house at night & hide under her bed. She put the phone down but he phoned back asking if she was "ready for him" (?) She is ex-directory and I have already registered her with TPS. Is there any other way to stop or at least reduce these calls?

When to newcastle last year for my brother stag do and hated every minute of it!!!! (I cant stand clubs!!) The gate was basically were you went to fight.......
