Has anybody tried Vredestein Quatrac Pro all season tyres?
Vectis replied to Mark-Surrey's topic in Tyres & Wheels
Fitted 225/45 r19's 2 days ago, will let you now when I've done a few miles. -
I decided to go for all seasons and finally had these fitted just 2 days ago. Had them about 6 weeks but have been waiting to have the 4 wheel alignment done.

Getting the alignment done tomorrow at a vw dealer, arranged by skoda UK as there is nowhere else on the Isle of Wight that can do it.

Due to the tracking screwing up my front tyres and not having been over impressed with the Bridgestones I have just ordered 4 Vredestein quatrac Pro 225/45 r19 all seasons for my 2.0l tdi 4x4 dsg as the choice for a decent all season tyre seems quite limited.
-
My local skoda dealer hasn't the equipment to do the tracking, I had to involve Skoda UK and they have got me booked in at a local vw garage who told me they couldn't do Skoda when I rang them.

I have excessive wear on the outside of my front tyres on my 4x4 Edition 2.0l tdi dsg and thought I would pop the car into a local tyre specialist to get the tracking done. They told me that with all the electronics such as lane assist etc they couldn't do it as it would cause the dash to light up like a christmas tree so I have contacted my local Skoda dealer and am waiting a reply as they were unsure, has anyone else come across this problem?

kick-down on DSG in eco mode not doing quite what you would expect
Vectis replied to dave_knight's topic in Skoda Karoq
Just pull the dsg lever back to engage sport mode and repeat when you want to go back to eco. -

To switch the internal alarm off just push the lock on the remote twice.

In settings you can adjust the tone and volume.

With the change in emission regulations any vehicle not complying with the new regs must be registered by the end of August I believe.

Just caught your last throw away line and it got my interest, is the VW cheat software just a dig at VW or have you got an update that improves adblue consumption.

Personally I think you should have got this sorted before you picked the car up as now you have accepted the car they are not going to be in any hurry to rectify the dents to your satisfaction which I agree should be a new bonnet.

I'd get it done by them and get them to pick your car up and drop you off a courtesy car while they repair it.
