Hi Folks ! Have got this sensor failure on my MK 1 Octavia 4x4 Turbo. Seems to be causing some confusion for dealership when my mechanic is looking into it. It causes both the abs and traction control lamps to come on, but can often be reset on the ignition. The problems we are having are A) its location, and is it repair or replace ? If anyone has a recommendation for someone who repairs the module, love to hear from you. Any help would be appreciated

Hi guys, another newbie, hope you're all well. I'm having an issue with my 51 plate 4x4 Turbo. We have pulled the following information. Longitudinal Acceleration Sender G251, and Fault code 01279. The problem is Esp and abs lights come on at will. I'm told i can get the module repaired. Any sensible advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, is it feasible to re-code a 2nd hand module ? Thanks folks
