  1. Tried to delete all last locations but they still came back! Any way to export my saved locations before I try a factory reset on navigation?
  2. My Columbus system has been faultless for the past 5 years but recently the sat nav won't record any new locations in "last location". They appear to stay whilst the car is running but disappear when I next use the car. I've also noticed if I delete an entry it will disappear until the next time I use the car. Anyone else seen or had this issue? I've not upgraded the software or firmware for about 2 years, and it has the update to split the hd for music space. Unit reports it has disk space spare.
  3. I have the travell dog guard, and as someone else said they do a divider which splits the boot in half. On eBay they often have seconds which the one mine meant the paintwork wasn't quite perfect. Other bonus unlike Skoda model is it doesn't need any special fitting.
  4. OK, shame was hoping I might be able to design something on a spare switch. Thanks for responding
  5. Does anyone know if it can be enabled/disabled via a switch like some other cars (like my old car) once enabled in VCDS? I'd like the option but have the ability to turn on and off at will.
  6. Hi, I have a MY2011 Superb with a Columbus on FW 3974 (also didnt work on 2xxx) and Bluetooth module 3C8 035 730 A. I'm trying to get BT streaming to work with a HTC Desire HD and a Huawei W1. Specs of both say they have A2DP and AVRCP 1.3 but I find although both will connect as media players I can only push music from the phones to the Columbus, there are no controls buttons lit up on Columbus or music titles presented. The HTC Desire is on Android 2.3.5 stock and tried the default media player, poweramp and winamp. Connected with both RSAP and Handsfree protocols and deleted profile before trying each. The W1 windows phone is version 8.0 and using default player. Does anyone have any ideas what is wrong or got either of these working?
  7. Think these are for the new Octavia, I've downloaded them but the version format is different, as is the folder format. Not had chance to have a closer look - in total its 17.9 Gb and seems to be Europe split into several maps
  8. I saw this the other day whilst looking for the answer to my issue - I guess this is the 3yr updates on the new Octavia but doesn't say they are limited to them. Has anyone tried to download and install from SD or dvd? my 2mb link is a little sloooowww so still on part 1
  9. Hi, just purchased a late 2010 plate superb elegance from an dealer and asked them to upgrade the maps and firmware before I took delivery, short story is they upgraded the maps but not the firmware so I have 5 digit postcodes and no hidden menu. That dealer is some 80 miles from me so don't want to update to 3xxx as I don't have the maps to reload (& not sure the local dealers will be so kind), and as I have a 18Gb music partition I presume it hasn't been split into 3. Is it possible to pull the maps off the HDD? or a safe way to update without re-partitioning the hdd and enable the hidden menu?
