  1. Update on the noise situation, the 'police siren' noise has pretty much gone now ive adjusted the stop screw, even though its not kickin in till 2.5k im happy the noise has gone
  2. Not vagcom machine but solus pro snapon one, which gets desired boost pressure and actual boost pressure up?
  3. The stop screw wasnt right it was unscrewed all the way out and yes i got desired boost pressure up, actual boost pressure
  4. Both adjuster rings are right at the bottom off the thread pal
  5. Stop screw isnt that easy pal ! Been at it all night, testing it, turned it inwards 3 full turns, boosts very well pulls like it used to but dosn't kick in till 2,500rpm, been adjusting all night and cant seen to get it lower than that
  6. Yeah i will mate, it still boost's though so surely turbo cant be knackered
  7. It does seems only to do it when cold, engine gets to normal temp can hardly hear it,
  8. Yeah mate they have been checked, few people have said its normal to have that noise on bigger turbo :/
  9. Does this sound normal for a reconed hybrid http://s1008.photobucket.com/user/louisgallimore/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-04/35D3579D-C0D7-47D3-ADE6-CA1211135EB0_zps22yydnn8.mp4.html
  10. Is this sound normal for a recon hybrid? http://s1008.photobucket.com/user/louisgallimore/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-04/35D3579D-C0D7-47D3-ADE6-CA1211135EB0_zps22yydnn8.mp4.html
  11. How does using a vagcom help? Serious question not being a smart arse
  12. Think i found the problem, the stop screw is the one that needs adjusting!
  13. Got a problem, as some of you may of seen in my project thread my turbo went on my fabia, bought a pd130 hybrid built with garrett gt1749v shell and gt1749vc internals/fan, the car already had a 205bhp map on. So fitted the new turbo and there is hardly no boost/pull, adjusted it like and did it around 3 full turns so that you have to pull the actuator arm onto the pin as read in one of the threads on here, car is still boosting very little, and a police siren kind of whistle to the turbo but it cant be knackered as its still boosting a little. Tomorrow im going to get the live vagcom on it so i can see the boost pressure, until then does anyone have any pointers or advice they could share with me to help me fix this problem ie. how much to adjust the actuator on the turbo
  14. Can anyone help with turbo problem???
  15. Few snaps aswel from earlier.
  16. Managed to get a video of the whisteling noise on the turbo, still no power really, not been mapped yet but the guy said theres a screw that most probably needs turning out on turbo? Anyway heres the direct link to video: http://s1008.photobucket.com/user/louisgallimore/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-04/BBD270B3-F934-4958-A06F-B5B29872DA1D_zpsvdvupcvq.mp4.html
  17. Yeah thats correct mate so heres after fitting and adjusting them today. Here is the back which the adjusters are all the way down, so lowest they will go.. And here is the front, adjusters all way down, low as they go.. IMO i dont think its very low, and would of thought coilovers would of gone lower than this, back is lower than front, i know it doesn't look much diff on pictures. ANOTHER UPDATE: So after my turbo going i ordered a new one which is a hybrid pd130 unit based Garrett GT1749V shell and GT1749VC internals / fan, this also came today and fitted it, changed oil, changed air filter, got a pipercross panel filter for it, and the car seems to be lacking in power much!! It feels like theres no pull there, turbo chatters like theres enough boost and there is a lot more black smoke than there was when trying to boost, i know it needs remapping which is getting done very soon, but wouldnt of thought by changing the turbo would resolve in the car being this down on power? The turbo is making a very slight whistleing noise but nothing like it sounded when the old turbo was knackered! Any help much appreciated! What you guys think
  18. Can anyone shed some light?
  19. Quick question, on the fk coilovers, is it the further down the thread the adjusters are ie. looser the springs the lower it is?
  20. Think it says; Front Lowering: 30-100mm Rear Lowering: 30-75mm For the FK AK street coilover i just got
