Thanks xpower.........I'll give that a try tomorrow. I do like the idea of the various modes but don't think the default speeds are optimal, or at least on bendy roads.

I've had no further luck with mine other than being told it is a characteristic of the car. I think it is city mode but to an extreme! At 55mph its still pointing at the hedge, nudge over 60 and it'll return to being forward. it'd be fine if it returned at a slower speed, 55mph is not when you want to be lighting the hedge, far prefer to see the road properly. Anyone any idea where to look in VCDS?

I have seen that Neily, but it's still doing it at 60mph. Surely they can't have designed something that lights up the hedge and not the road you're driving on? It sounds perfect on paper but I really think it's a fault if the headlight isn't pointing at the road. Can also turn it off or disable by selecting the head lights to on (not in auto) or under Eco for lighting on the individual setting.

I'd say mine does the opposite. Somewhere between 20-30 mph the right hand headlight starts pointing to the hedge on the other side of the road. In effect I have only one headlight point at the road where I want to see. Alun.

Hi, did you ever get this fixed? Mine does exactly the same and it can not be correct. The headlight shines directly across the oncoming carriage way. This has caused me numerous flashes from other divers and I have to wonder the legality or MOT status when the time comes. The dealer told me it is a characteristic of the car but it is as if something hasn't translated from left to right hand drive. Alun.

So just repeat it several more times do you think? I must've tried it 15-20 times. I'll see what Ross Tech has to say as well then. Thanks Andy.

Still no joy. Tried several times even coming completely out of VCDS. The error I get is : coding rejected Error FFFFFF98: Unknown (0x98) Not sure that will mean anything to anyone?

Thanks Andy, I will retry it in the morning. I had tried with and without using the security code and quite correct, it was a drop down menu. Fingers crossed it'll be fine tomorrow. Al.

Anyone had a problem w hen enabling this? I get to this point and the coding is rejected: Controller A5 (Front / front view camera) 07 - Coding Byte 1 Bit 0 Enable - "01 traffic sign recognition (FTE) active" It's on a vRS with Columbus. Any ideas? Thanks, Al.
