Very happy with Dunlop Sport Maxx TT (RT I think, nowadays).
Any of the other brands mentioned above are fine as long as the DOT and the provenance are the right ones...

The part number is 3U0 919 275 B. You can find it though cheaper on EBay, original, new. Last time I bought it for ~ 30 Euro + shipping cost. You can search for this code on ebay.de, they have plenty of VAG original parts. Nevermind the language, just search for the part number.
