Average of fuel economy in the MX5...

Retarding the timing won't help the MPG, the only thing that will help is a lighter right foot! -

I think high 20's are about right for it Jason. BTW it's only ever started to run out on 1/4 tank when it's on track - seems it can run under the empty line on the road. Best to carry some spare fuel just in case though. -
Try some wet and dry on a small patch and see what happens. It'll be respayed at some point anyway..

Very easy, all fixings are captive just like originals. So who met a gory end last night?

Mazda MX5 fits the bill apart from being comfortable on the M'way. But not too bad when you get used to the road noise.

*creapy voice* What's your favorite scary movie?! Didn't have to make that extra hole in the end, had a cunning plan which involved a magnet, a washer and a mig welder. Perfection.

Don't forget jason we have only checked the piston tops and cylinder walls, we can't see the crankshaft main or big-end bearings... -
What an excellent trip - you summed it up well Jason. Here is a link to our pics on FB, not sure it will work though... Login | Facebook

We're off in a few minutes! I've been banned from helping to get the stuff ready, there is a master at work getting every little thing together! Nice drive up the A303 for us, dinner somewhere and then on to the 8pm crossing if all is well. See you all there!

???? Why would that hurt the turbo. Over rev the motor yes, turbo damage, no.

Not getting on well with GTR evo. I'm used to playing TOCA 3 and I find the GTR game far less realistic in the way the car drives/slides/spins. If only I could get the north loop on toca 3 I'd be happy, ATM it only has the GP circuit. -

When my son is old enough to understand, he might think it's pretty cool he did a lap of the Nurburgring before he was even born! -

Jason, is a mazda and a pregnant lady welcome on this trip? -
All because I couldn't be bothered to logout & logon from my mate's garage Brisky account Last accountancy exam was this morning and after 4 hours of mental torture, it's over. If passed I (I mean Jason ) will be a qualified accountant. But won't know until August 28th! :thumbdwn: Now I (I mean Jason ) is getting KW coilovers fitted, and progress is good. Rear's all done, one front is fitted and just being adjusted a bit (stripped grub screw) and the other side should be soon as well I (Jason.... ) is hoping this will cure the bouncing issues synonymous with having two front blown dampers.....
