    It is the Symphony one. Had an stupid moment there. Thank you all for replying, it's much appreciated My computer has been broken for a while hence delay in reply. I'll post pictures once I've got it done.

    Hi there. I'm trying to swap out my head unit on my 07 Mk1 1.9 VRS from a 'Harmonics' factory unit to a new Kenwood unit as my CD player is broken on it. I was wondering if the factory unit is connected to the car's immobaliser as I don't want to risk my car not starting when I do the swap. I've bought a facia adapter off of Ebay already and any fitting advice would be greatly appreciated.
