Need help Pd170 engine misfiring upto 1500rpm then its fine after that. Car also judders in gears around that rev range until it goes over 1500rpm.

Sorted fellas thnx. Mechanic bypassed the fuel filter to see if it will fix the problem. Problem sorted so got a new fuel filter+housing.

Engine changed due to cracked head. Vcds not showing any fault codes

Not that I know of. It's an ex cop car with 170k miles. I've had endless problems with it. Dpf removed, engine changed, injectors are from old engine

Car misfires in idle and upto 1300rpm. Do you think its the shoddy injectors that we're recalled.

Plenty of fuel on board. Stalled again as i was driving up hill in 3rd, it was struggling because of low revs and stalled again when braked. Started with brake cleaner. Now it will be fine even if i turn it on off until it stalls again

HI peeps. My octavia vrs pd170 shuts off while braking, turns over but wont start. Spray brake cleaner and it starts then its fine after that all day. Done it twice now

Problem solved thnx all. Worn bushes on the track rod circled in the pic, bought from TPS for £52

Oh and the drivers side bump stop is in pieces and also when ive got full car with people and stuff in the boot it dosent wobble, only slightly that only i feel because i know the problem.

Ive looked at the wheels in my wing mirrors when drivig and theres no wobbling so its the body that wobbles.

Oh and i've had polybushes on the front wishbone put on at the same time

Octavia vrs pd 2008 with 150k miles. Ive recently had engine changed so everything was off including steering rack and was off road for 2 months, been doing it since not before. I had zeniths on before and now 18" neptunes. Its mainly the back end that wobbles. Rear passengers heads nod side ways lol

Hi wonder if some one could help. Car wobbles side to at high speeds, more when theres a bend in the road and turning steering to the left. Its not the tyres as ive recently put on another set of wheels with newish tyres and its still the same.

Sorted! I changed battery not oil, bonnet light works, opened bonnet and shut it many times. Took the dip stick out to check level a few times oil level was right, but that did the trick and light went off lol

Hello people, I changed the battery on my vrs and allot of lights were on, few seconds into drive and they all went off except the yellow oil light which just wont go off. Any help would be much appreciated thnx.
