  7. Over on Facebook, Skoda (www.facebook.com/skoda) have announced a rear view camera for the Yeti as part of the tailgate handle - does anyone know of this fit the aperture in the Superb's Estate/Combi, and if so will it operate the release mechanism? If so, then wiring the camera should be simple - as detailed in this thread http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/279557-reversing-camera
  8. Have a look at this http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/233547-superskoda-stainless-steel-estate-combi-bumper-protector-pictorial-guide/?hl=%20superskoda%20%20protector
  9. Thanks wokwon the posting this - are you able to hitch up easily on your own by using the camera? Also, could you post a close up pic of how / where you mounted the camera please.
  10. Can anyone tell me the name and size of the "bit" needed to remove the luggage rails from the floor of the estate boot? My first thought was a spline bit was needed, but the ones in my local B&Q appear not to have enough ridges, likewise, its not a torx bit as that too does have enough ridges
  11. I’m in the market for a headunit for our caravan; it must tick the following – Single DIN FM RDS Radio Slot loading CD At least 1 aux input – preferably on the back Infrared remote control that includes power on/off If you know of anything that meets these requirements do let me know. Cheers
  12. Can you not just unplug the unit from the loom, swap to led and then plug the live connector back in?
  13. Do the resistor modules just flop about or are they secured anywhere?
  14. From the socket on the back it looks like TV is via a external module http://www.kenwood-electronics.co.uk/view.aspx?url=http://images.kenwood.eu/files/image/2367/8/original/12_DNX521DAB_E_BACK_1.jpg Also the spec states NTSC camera, not PAL - be interesting to know where they put the camera on the Suberb
  15. See post #30 in this tread http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/237867-rear-sun-blinds-easy-to-fit/
  16. If you call VanStyle they have some clips that link the centre sections together - I had the same problem and they sent them free of charge. It appears that if you have them fitted by VanStyle they use these additional clips, but for some reason they are not included as standard! I did post some photos here if you like to play with the search feature....
  17. those will need external resistors if you don't want constant lamp fail indication
  18. See post one in this thread for the eBay link....As for life span as they are LEDs they should last for around 5000 hours - had them in my Octy Scout for around 18 months without any problems :-)
  19. It was on a clients site at such a time when there was no other traffic but their H&S rules state hazards must be on - but yes I guess I was going to fast as the seatbelt warning came on
  20. I've just discovered that the clicking noise of the indicator/hazard relay is in fact not a relay but is generated electronically - when driving with the hazards on and no seatbelt and the seatbelt warning chimes are played the clicking stops but the hazards keep flashing.
