  1. Thanks for the replys guys.. helpful to put my mind at ease. I'll read those other threads. the more I use my Skoda the more I love it.
  2. What kind of mpg do you get? I get a solid 40mpg from my 1.3 Felicia estate.
  3. Same here ..:-) thanks guys. I was thinking I'd leave it be "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" but if it could save me fuel on my 212mile a week commute I'll do it. Out of interests what mpg is average for a 1.3 estate. I get an easy 40, should it be higher?
  4. Hi Just a little question. When you switch the rear screen demister on where is the light to say its on or isn't there one. It works fine I just never know if I've left it on...
  5. On a similar line mine hardly moves off zero and takes 10miles to get the heater warmish. any ideas?
  6. Hi Guys, I'm looking for some roof bars or racks for my Felicia estate but not sure how they fit. I've seen some cheap ones but they seem to fit to rails that run the full length of the car which I don't have. Or is it possible to fit the roof rails from an old car? Cheers, Martin
  7. Cheers Tom, I didn't think of going direct to a dealer. And I've given Gerald a good going over Juan, I need to pick up some new exhaust rubbers as the new exhaust that was fitted looks as if they're used the old rubber hangers which are a bit cracked, just waiting to drop the exhaust. Thanks for the tips guys.
  8. Thanks for the welcome guys. The picture was us on Pendine Sands yesterday. 380 mile round trip, no problems, well apart from the front brake calliper coming un bolted. Gerald had some work done for the last MOT before I bought him including brake lines. And the estate is excellent for chucking in "beach" stuff and giving access to the picnic box on route...
  9. I all, I've got another SKoda! This one is a Felicia Estate 1.3 LXi His name is Gerald....
  10. Hi all, I've recently got myself a Felicia Estate so took it to Pendine Sands for a run to check it out, nice little 380 mile round trip to give it a shake down. Apart from the front brake calliper bolt falling out and loosing front brakes for a bit it was great. After giving Gerald a look over I noticed the dust cups that fit over the rear wheel bearings are missing and fire out grease over the rear wheel. Does anyone have one knocking around their tool box? I can't seem to find one online without buying a whole rear bearing assembly. I'll be at Gaydon Sunday. Cheers all, Martin
